All 11 hurricanes in 2024 intensified by 9-28 mph, strengthening over waters made as much as 2.5°F warmer because of climate change. Hurricane Attribution shows it is *unlikely* Beryl & Milton would have developed into Category 5 hurricanes w/out the influence of climate change.
The 2024 Atlantic hurricane season, which officially ends on Nov. 30, showcased above-average activity, with a record-breaking ramp up following a peak-season lull. The idea that "CO2 is plant food" is fine until they close up the stomata in the heat to conserve water and stop taking in CO2 at all.

Along the coast of Andros Island in the Bahamas, sea levels rose around 10 cm (4 in) between 1985 and 2018. Scientists found that this rise did not alter the shoreline as much as expected, but did bring substantial changes to inland marshes and mudflats. go.nasa.gov/4fCjLZb

What a difference a few days can make! San Francisco has jumped from 24% of normal on Tuesday to 118% today. And Santa Rosa is now at a gaudy 364%. On the other end of the spectrum is rain-shadowed San Jose with only 23% of normal. See ggweather.com/seasonal_rain.…
