I love how legendarily lame @MotoGP championship celebrations are. It always looks like the result of a stag do planned for fifty quid. Hilarious!
Right then, I'm out of here, too. Where are we all fleeing to? Bluesky, Threads, Mastodon? Or are we, with relief, concluding this whole Machiavellian social media experiment?

Time for @OceanOpticsConf day 3! Another packed day of ocean colour science....starting, of course, with an idyllic walk to the venue (mmmm, reflectance).
Finally found time to watch the @MotoGP Japan race. Wonder why I bothered. Another dull, grinding snooze fest. Not sure why I am watching this dirge any more. If Phillip Island is like this, I'm done.
After a busy morning of training at @OceanOpticsConf, it's time to move on to the afternoon session! Introducing the @eumetsat ThoMaS validation toolkit for performing ocean colour matchup analysis with OLCI, VIIRS, Aqua and PACE.
It's @OceanOpticsConf training time! First up NASAs @dirkaurin is introducing the HyperCP community processor for above water hyperspectral radiometry. @FRM4SOC
Next up in the @OceanOpticsConf Hypercp training session; Agnieszka Bialek from @NPL walking us through the complicated landscape of instrument characterisation and calibration uncertainty!
