Happy 1st Birthday PACE! On February 8th, 2024 at 1:33 AM EST, a brand new satellite was launched into space, and in the months since we have had access to unprecedented ocean color imagery. Fun fact: PACE requires about 98.3 minutes to orbit the Earth.

Just in – data from our newest Earth-observing satellite, PACE! With PACE data, scientists can study microscopic life in the ocean and particles in the air, allowing us to monitor ocean health, air pollution, and impacts of climate change. More: go.nasa.gov/4aNNGe2
