If there's sunny weather where you are today, make the most of it: it's 'St Luke's little summer'.
If it's warm and sunny today, that's an example of 'St Luke's little summer' - a traditional name for a period of fine weather around the feast of St Luke, 18 October. The sunlight of summer, falling on the glowing colours of autumn. gutenberg.ca/ebooks/sackvill…

Hey @MLB - wanna get more kids watching baseball? Maybe start with the commercials. Watching the playoffs tonight with my kids and here's the rundown: - Megan Fox selling ED pills in a red bodysuit - The scariest movie trailer you've ever seen - Sydney Sweeney in zero clothes promoting betting on sports Leagues can't figure out why kids don't watch. You don't need a Nickelodeon game. You're not the Savannah Bananas. Just show baseball in a way I can leave on in my house.

It's worth noting: the last time a Pope was diagnosed with cancer was in September of 1962, and the public wasn't told until 1963, less than a week before Pope St. John XXIII died from the stomach cancer no one knew about. So, the fact that we've gone from the Pope saying "I'm having surgery this week" on Sunday to the Vatican telling us "surgery was successful, and the nodule was cancerous, and the Pope is asking for dinner now that he's back to his room" by Tuesday evening is remarkable.

Pope Leo XIV’s surgery is tomorrow, Oct 13, a significant date for Catholics: in 1917 thousands of witnesses saw the “miracle of the sun” in Fatima. In 2019 John Henry Newman was canonized. In the Communion of Saints, let’s ask Our Lady of Fatima, Lucia, Jacinta & Francisco and Newman to lead us in prayer for @Pontifex sake. And the world’s.
