It's been a good week for Putin. In recent days, Trump has:
* Struck a diesel deal lifting some sanctions
* Restricted Starshield for Ukraine
* Cut intel warnings of Russian missile launches against Ukraine for several days
* Canceled Lindsey Graham sanctions
* Demanded Ukraine dump Zelensky
* Absolved Russia for helping Iran fight the US
* Pushed Europe to resume buying Russian gas

This is how traditional Portuguese port wine š· is made.

The video depicts people playing in grape must, not traditional Portuguese port wine foot treading. That process uses coordinated teams in rhythmic marching (corte) then freer movement (liberdade) inside shallow granite lagares.

Musk's new demo is something like an intelligence test. Smart people know that it's bullshit, while dumb folks like this e/acc think it's a huge technological leap forward.

What Tommy says at the end, when he refuses to disavow adding any religious doctrine to U.S. law, is the scary part. The next generation of conservatives has a desire for a Christian theocracy, and that threat needs to be taken seriously.

I think I need this level motivation for cardio.
The most dystopian fitness video on the internet just dropped. šØš
Paris is literally burning, protesters are shutting down the streets, and this woman is casually jogging past a burning barricade like itās a treadmill session. She is literally running through thick black smoke because hitting her daily step count is a higher priority than whatever revolution is happening around her.
Pure, unfiltered main character syndrome. The absolute disrespect to the entire riot.

So the GOP paid this kid $250k for viral marketing.
And instead they gave El-Sayed his strongest clip of the cycle!
Amazing!
Tommy, who worked as Josh Hawleyās ops director, is the son of Bobby Jindalās longtime COS, Tim Teepell, who is listed as the principal for Breakthrough LLC. This month, Jindalās dark money group paid $250,000 to Breakthrough LLC, for influencer marketing opposing Abdul El-Sayed.
A lot of the responses here are hilarious. People who are completely fine with overt Christian nationalism are pointing out that maybe, somehow, in a devious way, AES is hiding his sympathies for radical Islam. Ok, letās assume that he is hiding his sympathies for MB - but he is also clearly stating that his guiding light is the US Constitution. Why would anyone other than MAGA vote for his opponent who will, like all Republicans do, carry the water for a corrupt admin that has no respect for the constitution and overtly fans the flames of white/christian nationalism? If I were a Michigander, it would be dumb for me to take that chance. The most urgent thing to do is to kick the current admin in the balls every way you can. Voting for AES is at least an acceptable risk considering that he will have no executive power to impose his will.
I am not a fan of his policies but you have to tip your hat to his political craft here. The dude is good, and the contrast is especially striking because Republican candidates across the board just seem like a bunch of low-IQ bigots.

When the US called for help, Allies stepped forth. Some of those soldiers did not return home. All Americans should show respect.
Hegseth on Afghanistan:
I was a captain in Afghanistan, and we would go to the headquarters in Kabul, and there would be 50 flags at the headquarters.
It was a beautiful thing to see 50 different countries contributing to the NATO alliance and the ISAF mission there.
Except there were like maybe five that contributed. It was actually closer to one or two that, by the end, were actually involved in kinetic operations.
In fact, the ISAF patch, we would joke that it meant "I Saw Americans Fighting."
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Over 1100 non-American soldiers from 31 US-allied countries were killed fighting in Afghanistan, approximately 1/3 of the total combat deaths.

This is so perfect. Honestly, I thought "Tommy" was a plant by the way he walked off at the end. Abdul El-Sayed just looks too good here.
But after looking it up, I learned he was a former Josh Hawley staffer.
This is the most inspiring performance by an American politician that I can remember seeing.
El-Sayed was faced with a bigoted question. He didn't hide from it or pander. He broke down why it was a bigoted question, and gave a stirring defense of American principles and the Constitution.
At the end, his interlocutor wouldn't condemn Christian Nationalism! El-Sayed has a perfect response to this, and "everybody clapped."
A lot of us have had this experience of arguing with right-wingers, questioning them, and then finding out that they have no principles, they're just bigots. A Hawley staffer will talk about the US Constitution and freedom of religion to attack a Muslim politician, and sing a completely different tune when it comes to Christian fundamentalists.
Again, the "everybody clapped" nature of this, followed by Tommy walking off in shame, made me think that he was a plant.
But no. This was a real-life rightoid, getting exposed as the hateful, hypocritical bigot that he is in front of the entire world.
Abdul El-Sayed's rise in American politics has made me a lot more optimistic about our future.
Musk is on track to pour a billion dollars to salvage the MAGA machine but his own bubble is bursting in real time.

This is so funny.
Ossoff is ahead by like ten points and wants to debate, Collins doesnāt.
In Texas, the Republicans are approximately even and wonāt debate.
Republicans wonāt debate either way! They know they have lower IQs than their opponents.
Itās not about who is winning. Itās usually the smarter side that wants to debate because they are confident they can win the argument.
