DecisionModels is powered by REAX, Bittensor subnet 92.
➡️A place where anyone with a GPU can host these models.
➡️Where the community of AI engineers gets incentivized to work on REAX engine, our high-speed inference engine for decision models
(and for upcoming other work on decision models)

Thanks everyone, what a week!!
I think we may have just proven decentralized training competitions for use case specific decision models is a thing that works...
Quick moment to step back, because this was a big week
• 3 days ago REAX went live. Today 217 miner slots serve decision models and 65 independent miner wallets are earning... almost all traffic routed to the network is now answered by your GPUs, with zero failed verification checks.
• The first model-training competition has its first two champions
=> demand forecasting (UID 71, 91.1 vs the 38.2 baseline) and
=> risk assessment (UID 251, 64.2 vs 31.7).
Both more than double what we started with.
Both passed a confirmation draw, a head-to-head playoff, and copy/twin checks against every earlier entry.
Rewards start with the next weight sets.
• Many fixes this week came straight from the mining community:
real-speed probes per hotkey, keep-alive for qualified entries, re-registration without copy flags, a fairer small-GPU tier, and Senpaii's confirmation-margin PR.
Next: protection for queued entries, several machines per hotkey, and less registration churn.
Thank you all, especially dear miners, for the hard work, the bug reports and the patience.
A young subnet has rough edges, and you're the ones helping us smooth them out.
Great things lie ahead! 🫡

I've been covering $TAO from a technical view, and I start to like this chart even more.
The reason for that is that I'm seeing a clear bullish structure.
The weekly block has held for support and we've kept dipping into it, and everytime, it's getting a lot of positive responses as it's quickly being bought up.
Happy to stay in this position.

Talking Targon, Ep. 01 is now live.
Bittensor co-founder Jacob Steeves aka @const_reborn joins us to break down eTAO, the upgrade that lets subnet owners decide how their emissions are split.
We get into subnet economics, the guardrails against exploits, and what it unlocks for compute on Targon.
JUST IN: SN80 (@openroboto), the largest robotics subnet on @bittensor, integrates peaqOS
All devices now have an ID and wallet on Solana, and can be verified and paid for their performance directly on Solana using @peaq
yet we still are one of the only platforms in the world with access to b300s on-demand; not gated by any sales call, kyc form, or waitlist.
and at the same prices that the big clouds currently charge for 3 month+ long commitments, we only charge you for the time you use it.
help.
our service is too good and agents keep renting everything.
we need more supply

Bittensor recently released Null Consensus, a major protocol update expanding subnet capacity from 256 to 2,500 participants.
It introduces a new way to determine miner rewards, giving subnet owners an alternative to Yuma Consensus.

🚨 BITTENSOR NOW HAS A MULTI-MODEL DESKTOP AI APP $TAO
@say_gm_ has shipped SayGM Desktop across Mac, Windows and Linux.
Claude → GPT → Gemini → switch models without leaving the conversation.
No subscription. SayGM says pricing stays below list. The app can also read files, build spreadsheets and run tasks in the background.

Why is SOMA such a great compressor in the #Bittensor ecosystem?
One reason is that it extends your context window by 20%, allowing you to run longer sessions without hitting limits.
Shout-out to @infinitetensor and @_overment for the inspiration!

Same GPUs. Same model. Up to 54% faster inference.
@Pareton_ai is showing how much optimization can matter when miners compete on Bittensor.
And @engyai provides the setup where these improvements are tested.
This is the kind of subnet competition worth watching.
$TAO #Bittensor
.@Pareton_ai miners achieved up to 54% faster AI inference on @engyai’s setup, using the same GPUs.
On the latest Novelty Search, Pareton explains how Bittensor’s Subnet 10 improves the software that runs AI models, with each winning optimization becoming the next baseline to beat.
The team also got a miner-developed optimization merged into @vllm_project, one of the leading open-source engines for AI inference.

Everyone is obsessed with building a smarter AI model.
The real money is in the pit crew.
You can have the fastest engine on the grid. But if your pit crew is two seconds slow on the wheels, you lose the race.
AI is now exactly this.
The top models have converged. The edge has moved to serving them faster and cheaper.
That is the race almost nobody is watching.
A Bittensor subnet just won a lap of it.
Subnet 10 runs an open competition to optimise AI inference.
Miners submit code. The network tests every submission on the same hardware, the same traffic. Only the fastest wins. Then it raises the floor and runs again.
Two receipts from its first month live:
◆ A miner's optimisation got merged into vLLM, the open source engine running a huge share of the AI you already talk to.
Real code. Accepted into the real stack.
◆ On a live inference provider's hardware, its top miners delivered a 54% throughput gain against SGLang on Nvidia's own public benchmark.
Within two weeks of mining going live on 1 September.
Not a demo. Not a pitch deck.
Production speedups, earned in open competition.
Meanwhile, the protocol just widened the lane.
Subnets went from 256 participants to 2,500. A 10x jump.
Proof of work registration too, so you can join by running software on your GPU with no TAO in your wallet to start.
A bigger arena. A lower barrier. Real code shipping out of it.
This is the part people keep missing about $TAO.
It is not waiting for permission to matter. It is already optimising the infrastructure the entire AI industry runs on.
The smartest model stopped being the moat.
Serving it is the moat now.
And the open market is winning that race in public.
