I have a theory - run capitalism far enough and it comes out the other side as communism.
Saying RAM belongs in data centers instead of wasting away in PCs looks like a Marxist argument with a cap table.
A central planner judges your RAM better than you do, your small joys today give way to a future someone else designed, and ownership ends up in fewer hands than any Politburo managed.
India saw about 496 million people lifted out of poverty between 2011 and 2023 in one of the world’s fastest declines in this metric, the World Bank said, although the gains remain uneven. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
Just finished the Rafa documentary. It plays like a tragedy. For over 20 years, the central character has been a man in constant pain, pushing his body well beyond what it seems capable of enduring.
The ability to suffer is the price of ambition.
One of the best sports documentaries I've watched.

I find the claims of Phillips' fielding being performative laughable. You don't even need to have played the game to know that the reaction time for the fielder in most cases is in milliseconds. To think that someone would try to be 'performative' in that little time, well..

Give me one reason why Abhishek Sharma shouldn't be fast-tracked into the ODI setup. Have him around as the X-factor — he's in the form of his life and striking the ball beautifully.
It’s a crime that Abhishek Sharma isn’t playing ODIs. He could become the world’s best finisher.
A slightly left-field fit for India’s ODI XI: Abhishek Sharma at No. 6.
If Abhishek is the best hitter in the world right now, you need him in your XI. The opening slots are already taken, so why not use him as a finisher? He has the power to take down bowlers from ball one, regardless of the situation.
He should also work on his bowling and develop into the kind of genuine all-round option Naman Dhir showed glimpses of being in the recent ODI series. Abhishek is an exceptionally gifted batter, and his ceiling at international level is far higher than Dhir’s.
It’s unconventional, but imagine having that kind of firepower coming in at six, with the added bonus of a bowling option.

One fine day, I want to see Abhishek and Vaibhav S batting together in a T20. 😁
Oh! Those poor bowlers.
