Huge redemption arc in getting out to Murali in a WC knockout for a duck, have folks burn effigies and write obituaries for your career, and then very specifically promote yourself in a WC final to tackle Murali and win the WC.

An emotional Harman tears up during the innings break interview after her 91*
This while looking back on her knock.
Emphasised multiple times on wanting to enjoy herself while batting. Lovely moment when she thanked WV Raman too.
Interview ended prematurely. Understandably.
Harmer gets his maiden Test half century at the age of 37y 252 days. Couldn't have timed it better, I guess. Probably doesn't have a lot of innings left at this level but got to love his little comeback story. Proper story of trust the process, results will follow.
Haha. So true. I often see fundaes that were asked in quizzes in DU when I was in first year get crazy numbers on Twitter. One more such funda is that Peter England is an Indian brand.
His voice is just a lot positive energy for me. Like, I don't remember anything extremely insightful that he said (and I am not saying that he doesn't give insights, I possibly missed) but if I hear him on comms, I am definitely increasing the volume. Voice like bright sunshine.
Best job in the world? 🤩

Ummm. I'd disagree. That was an away knock by a captain who had assumed leadership after his team had been bowled out for 36 in the previous Test and the regular captain wasn't available. A much younger Aussie bowling attack was bowling to him at home. So, that was super special.
Only shows how wonderful our game is. You can be of any build and you can still make a mark. Also. there's something cathartic about seeing the tall bowlers running in hard to bowl well directed bouncers, only for short fellows like Temba/Sachin to hook them away for six.
Got to be one of the better captain's knocks in recent times considering the nature of the pitch and the attack he is up against. And to get it with a pull off the opposite number, superb effort from him. This series is living up to its top billing.
Just some average pictures I took from my phone camera of Gqeberha 3 years ago. Won't say that these pictures are representative of the entire city but you get the drift.
