Dropped @Movember’s production database during peak donation period in Nov 2011.
Ran automation for setting up a new follower db against the leader db, taking the entire cluster offline.
Prod down for ~5 mins as we restored. Probably lost several tens of k’s of donation $s.
A good friend of mine had a person on their team drop the production database this week. They are back up, but it was a scary 24 hours for them.
