A Bengaluru commuter has highlighted the poor condition of Wind Tunnel Road, showing a stretch littered with garbage, rubble and debris along the roadside. The video, shared by Instagram user recorded while travelling on the road from Murgeshpalya towards Embassy Golf Links Business Park. The creator says the stretch is part of her daily commute to work, highlighting the difficult conditions faced by people who use the road regularly. #Bengaluru #Garbage

The footpaths of 12th Main, Indiranagar are a mess. - Piles of rubble rivalling conflict zones - Trees doubling as dustbins - Missing/broken slabs - Inexplicable craters Billions in venture capital have been deployed in this part of town. The footpaths could use some love too.

Today my daughter’s school bus took 2 hours to travel just 2 km in Varthur/Gunjur road. For those 2 hours, I sat there as a parent feeling completely helpless. I work hard. My wife and I pay lakhs in taxes every month. We took a huge home loan mainly so we could live close to our daughter’s school and give her a safer, easier childhood. And yet, this is what “2 km from school” means here. In the last year alone, we have seen a school bus topple, a woman suffer serious injuries after a fall, a biker almost lost his life after falling because of a pothole, and many more incidents that never become headlines. Every day, ordinary people here tweet, email, complain, follow up and plead with authorities. We are not activists. We are not fighting for a political party. We are parents, employees, families and taxpayers asking for one basic thing: Please give our children a safe road to come home on. Today, more than the traffic, what broke me was the feeling that despite doing everything a responsible citizen is supposed to do, I had absolutely no power to protect my own child. If anyone knows how ordinary citizens of Varthur/Gunjur can reach someone with the authority to actually intervene, please help us. @krishnabgowda @DKShivakumar @MALimbavali @ArvindLBJP @GBA_office @BECCUPDATES @ChristinMP_ @RamSNarayan @GunjurCharan @RisingVarthur @BDAOfficialGok #varthurisbleeding

2+ hours. Every single day. That's how long kids from Whitefield spend on Varthur Road for a 5km commute. My own daughter is stuck right now as I post this. Whitefield deserves better than this. @blrcitytraffic @DKShivakumar @krishnabgowda @PCMohanMP @MALimbavali #Varthur

RDIF is now inviting Second Level Fund Managers (SLFMs) seeking funds to invest in corporates and startups. It will competitively select and fund SLFMs based largely on their management profile, professional track record, and innovation focus. We will consider both existing funds, and new funds with experienced and qualified management teams, for financing.

We Have Won! No one can use ‘ORS’ on their label unless it’s a WHO-recommended formula. This is the story of Dr. Sivaranjani Santosh, a braveheart paediatrician from Hyderabad, who fought for 8 years against sugar-rich drinks falsely marketed as ORS. Her persistence led to FSSAI’s landmark order, protecting children and patients from misleading claims. “These drinks had 10x the sugar WHO recommends, worsening diarrhoea and complications in millions of kids,” she explains. This victory is not just hers, but belongs to everyone who stood with her — doctors, advocates, parents, and citizens demanding truth in labeling. Scroll down to see how her 8-year battle changed the game for public health and children across India. All I am seeking is garbage clearance n road resurfacing which ought to be done by the GBA. Govt Ministers need to hold them responsible n accountable for shoddy and slow work. Here Govt n Citizens need to be on the same page. If garbage mafia is not doing their job then we

I had an overseas business visitor to Biocon Park who said ‘ Why are the roads so bad and why is there so much garbage around? Doesn’t the Govt want to support investment? I have just come from China and cant understand why India can’t get its act together especially when the winds are favourable?’ @siddaramaiah @DKShivakumar @PriyankKharge

Every company and organisation and RWA needs to flag the crippling infrastructure of Bangalore. Administrations, all of them in the last 15-20 years, have failed this beautiful city and its people.

CM, DyCM comes and goes. But potholes remains in Bengaluru. This is because there is corruption in making the road quality. Filling potholes is not the solution. Ending corruption is the solution.

Why did Karnataka’s roads go wrong? 🤔 BJP, Congress & JDS – both State & Central must answer! 💰 We pay road cess & GST 🕳️ We get potholes & broken roads If we don’t raise our voice today, tomorrow it could be you or your loved ones. 💔 #Karnataka #Bengaluru #Infrastructure

Why do Bengaluru’s roads break in just 15 days? The ORR service road was tarred barely a month ago, yet craters are back. What kind of “technology” are @GBAoffic contractors using, and what level of scrutiny is the CM @siddaramaiah's office doing? How long will citizens suffer? Is it too much to expect a road that lasts at least 6 months in Bengaluru? Big question mark on #BrandBengaluru.

ORR (Bellandur) has been our “office + home” for the last 9 years. But it’s now very-very hard to continue here. 💔 We have decided to move out. Background: - Average commute for my colleagues shot up to 1.5+ hrs (one way) - Roads full of potholes & dust, coupled with lowest intent to get them rectified - Didn’t see any of this changing in the next 5 years

Disgraceful ! In #Bengaluru, school kids had to be rescued after their bus nearly toppled on the cratered #Balagere–#Panathur Road. How long will netas & babus stay numb to citizens’ pain? Do our children’s lives mean nothing? #FixRoads #SaveOurKids @timesofindia
