A new chapter in India–EU technology collaboration begins today. In Berlin, Nasscom formally launched the Nasscom EU Forum: a strategic platform bringing together India’s technology industry, European enterprises, policymakers and innovation ecosystems. The timing is significant. India and the European Union are entering a defining phase of their strategic relationship, with technology, digital transformation, AI, innovation and trusted digital ecosystems increasingly at the heart of economic cooperation. We officially launched the Nasscom #InnoTrekUSA2026 programme with a curtain-raiser at the Consulate General of India in New York, setting the tone for the journey ahead. The event brought together investors, enterprise CXOs and ecosystem partners. Each participating deeptech startup had the opportunity to present its solution directly to investors and global decision-makers. We are grateful to Ambassador Binaya S. Pradhan, Consul General of India in New York, for welcoming the delegation to the Consulate. Addressing the founders, he noted they were developing cutting-edge technologies and had arrived in the US at the right time. He spoke about opportunities across capital, customers, partnerships and university collaborations, as well as the growing scope for India–US cooperation in frontier technologies. Ambassador Pradhan also spoke about the #NasscomUSCEOForum, established at the Consulate last year to bring Indian technology companies together. He noted that the industry’s contribution to US employment, tax revenues, economic growth, corporate America and public administration remains largely an untold story. The Forum provides a platform for the industry to work collectively on shared priorities, including advocacy.
