So proud to use my role to bring @tarongazoo education home to #WesternSydney for Project Platypus 24 with RegentvillePS during @Aus_ScienceWeek. In its 2nd year I’m stoked to have more stakeholders & hopefully with some funding we can involve more WS schools in 2025 #lovepenrith

The most wholesome project I have worked on since starting at the Taronga. Seeing students, design, collaborate and workshop ideas to solve a problem. As they grow and get a better understanding of the world they will be able to use these same skills to solve real world problems.

What a brilliant two days of learning, problem-solving and collaboration by our teachers from @thenestcollab , @ashsix4 from @tarongazoo and most impressively, 30 of our Yr 3 students. So much learning about physics, maths, engineering and creativity.

Our inaugural Yr 3 NEST enrichment course starts today at @narrabeenshs. 30 students and 5 expert staff from our 4 schools who have collaborated to put together a brilliant STEM program for the next two days. Thank you also to Ash from @tarongazoo for the collab and challenge!
