AI data center deployment will require 212 gigawatts of cumulative incremental capacity between 2026 and 2030, with annual additions scaling from 13.0 gigawatts in 2025 to 55.7 gigawatts by 2030, according to BofA Global Research. Building out each gigawatt of AI capacity costs between $25bn and $45bn, requiring roughly $9.5tn in potential cumulative capital expenditure through 2030. While specialized accelerators and server racks represent roughly 55% to 60% of total site spending, approximately 40% of capital is absorbed by physical facilities outside compute. Power infrastructure accounts for 12% to 18% ($3bn to $8bn per gigawatt), networking demands 8% to 12% ($2bn to $5bn), and specialized liquid cooling systems require 6% to 10% ($2bn to $5bn), shifting capital toward industrial equipment suppliers. Physical resource bottlenecks are tightening as electrification across power grids, data centers, and electric vehicles drives a 2.3% compound annual growth rate in copper demand between 2026 and 2030, matching total global copper demand growth seen across all sectors over the past decade, according to BofA Global Research. Total bottom-up demand of 212 gigawatts implies capital requirements roughly $2.1tn above current consensus hyperscaler budgets of $7.4tn through 2030. If utility interconnects, high-voltage transformers, and local grid capacities fail to deliver power at scale, physical delivery limits will cap server deployments regardless of semiconductor supply, stranding capital in incomplete facility shells and extending project payback periods. #AI #Macro Report date: 2026-10-16 · BofA

Agent workflows stall when every task needs a fresh prompt. Autonomous Company is an AI company framework for continuous autonomous work. It helps you run recurring work cycles by having each cycle read a shared work summary, decide what to do, form a team when needed, execute, and update that summary for the next cycle. Key features: • 14 agent role definitions – provides role definitions that draw on expert approaches for different domains • Cycle-based workflow – each loop reads context, makes a decision, executes work, then waits for the next cycle • Shared handoff memory – uses a shared work summary to carry context between cycles • Human-configured boundaries – work operates within configured goals, permissions, and budgets • Local dashboard – includes a dashboard for both supported host setups It’s open-source (MIT license). PitchBook put a number on competing at the AI frontier: about $100 billion over five years. It's a scenario, not a bill, but the bond market is already reacting to the debt behind it. PitchBook's Oct 12 note breaks the number down: → About $93B of cash spent on everything from research compute to distribution, plus a $7B reserve → No single model costs that much to train, and no challenger raises it up front → Because customer cash arrives after the spending that earns it, outside financing peaks near $29B in its base case The financing mix is the real story: → A frontier lab spends 60–70% of its budget on compute → More than 70% of the capital labs raise comes as cloud-compute credits from Microsoft, Amazon and Google, by some estimates Now look at the credit side: → Gartner (Oct 14): more than $3.5 trillion of AI infrastructure spending could be exposed to impairment by the end of 2030 → Gartner also expects over 80% of neoclouds to cease independent operations by 2030 → CoreWeave, with $35.6B of debt, saw yields on its 9.625% 2032 notes climb from 13.42% in early October to 15.06% on Oct 14. Its stock fell 13% that day. That yield is a secondary-market price on one bond, not what CoreWeave pays on all its borrowing. But it shows how fast credit can reprice. My read, and it's opinion: capital is getting more expensive, and the sturdiest players may be the ones that can fund AI from their own cash flow. Is this a bubble about to pop, or a consolidation toward a few players? Give me your thesis below 👇 #AI #AIInfrastructure #Credit #CoreWeave #Venture

$DRAM, $SKHY, $MU $SNDK Dell’s CEO warned memory shortages could worsen in 2027, calling it a possible “four-year problem” as AI demand outpaces supply. We’ve known this for a while. The CEOs of the biggest companies in the world have better insight into demand and supply than us normies, and they keep saying the same thing. So I remain bullish on memory stocks.

We are living through a bizarre economic paradox: Energy costs are surging, borrowing rates remain at multi-year highs, yet two of the biggest capital consumers in the world are completely unfazed. Macroeconomists call this the **Shrugflation Triangle** - where AI infrastructure, oil shocks, and Treasuries feed into one another: 1. The Energy Pressure: Regional conflicts and logistics bottlenecks have pushed transport and diesel costs up drastically (+77% YoY). Higher transport costs drive sticky inflation. 2. The Interest Rate Wall: To fight this inflation, central banks are forced to keep interest rates elevated. Normally, high interest rates cause spending to slow down. 3. The "Shrug": The two largest capital spenders in the economy simply don't care about interest rates: The Government: Must borrow continuously to service record national debt, regardless of the yield. AI Companies: Face an "existential imperative to borrow" billions to buy power and compute before their competitors do. When two massive entities compete for the exact same pool of capital without any interest-rate sensitivity, borrowing costs stay high for everyone else. The result is a growing divide between asset owners reaping record capital gains and everyday businesses getting squeezed by high operating and borrowing costs.

People will spend $1,500 on a phone, $20 on Netflix, $15 on Spotify and $8 on a blue checkmark, then act personally offended when the most powerful AI they’ve ever used costs $20 a month. Apparently unlimited entertainment is worth paying for, but intelligence should be free. Interesting priorities.

Jev as a judge for LLM evals! JevEval uses Jev as the judge for custom LLM evals instead of relying on another generative LLM for every evaluation. The idea is pretty simple. You define the exact decisions you want the evaluator to make, Jev evaluates each one and returns probabilities, and DeepEval uses those results to calculate the final score. For example, with an AI agent you can evaluate the trace itself, checking whether the agent selected the right tools, followed the expected sequence of actions, and actually completed the task. Jev handles those semantic judgments, while the scoring logic stays outside the model. That is the main difference from a normal LLM-as-a-judge setup. With a generative judge, the model often has to interpret the rubric, reason about the response, and generate the evaluation itself. With JevEval, you define the decision structure upfront. You can also assign different weights to different checks or use `strict_mode` when every requirement needs to pass. So if one part of the agent workflow matters more than another, you can reflect that directly in the scoring logic instead of leaving the entire evaluation to the judge model. Key capabilities: - Evaluate agent outputs and traces with Jev - Define custom checks as bounded decisions - Use yes/no, score, and closed-choice questions - Weight different checks or require all of them to pass - Evaluate both single-turn outputs and multi-turn conversations This is where Jev makes a lot of sense for evals. If you already know what needs to be checked, you can define those decisions upfront, let Jev handle the semantic judgment, and keep the final scoring deterministic. I’ve shared the DeepEval post in the comments.

The SpaceXAI team's 10-page PDF on Loop Engineering in GrokBot - one shape replaced the roster of bots: the twist: your bots are already good enough. you're the part that's blocking them the formula: Loop = Memory + Trigger + Verification here's the playbook in 6 steps: step 1 → pick one recurring workflow with a measurable finish - if you can't name what "done" looks like, you have a chat, not a loop step 2 → give every bot a persona, not a task - a task-bound agent gets rebuilt for every new loop step 3 → put memory between the turns - it lives in S3 and survives weeks step 4 → let the trigger restart it - time, message, or incident. one run scheduled its own check-in at 11:46pm, came back when the work landed, then turned the routine off step 5 → verify with evidence, not assertions - the QA bot records video of the front end and screenshots the network inspector step 6 → write the stop condition in plain language - never do X, always allow Y. a loop without one isn't autonomous, it's unsupervised the result: corrections become skills, so the loop that runs tomorrow is not the loop that ran today - the human moves from router to supervisor and sits on the edge of the cycle this 10-page PDF is what comes after prompt engineering and context engineering bookmark and build the full system from the article below ↓
