Texas Republican Senate candidate Ken Paxton reportedly took over 275 lavish trips outside of Texas while he was Attorney General.
These trips cost Texas taxpayers at least $1,900,000 in total.

Governor @GregAbbott_TX is cutting his losses as his numbers slip in the polls to TX State Rep. Gina Hinojosa -- following the intense media coverage of corruption caused by his (Abbott's) state takeover of the largest tax-funded school district in Texas.
In a major twist, it appears Mike Miles will now resign after 3 years as an uncertified superintendent (appointed by Abbott & Mike Morath), and Lucía Morales is scheduled to take over as interim superintendent.
The news leaked earlier than was planned after the independent media platform Context Corner accidentally published the article on multiple sites briefly (before Houston ISD's press release timeline). The article was quickly deleted, but not before we discovered it.
