The NCDP elected Anderson Clayton as chair — ousting an incumbent who was endorsed by then-Gov. Roy Cooper and then-AG Josh Stein — after Democrats lost *every* statewide race in the 2022 midterms.
Clayton promised to organize better, and the next midterm is here.
North Carolina Democrats would be a in a good position to win the Senate race with Roy Cooper running, but the fact they have a dynamic and young party chairwoman like @AbreezeClayton certainly gives them a boost.
