It has become clear that the 'hard' skills are now easy, and the so-called soft skills are actually hard to learn & do So we're doing it again! V2 of @ku1deep's workshop on Negotiations happening next Sunday. Free to attend, but limited spots to keep it interactive. Link below:

Everyday I am reminded how much damage was done to generations of Indian youth because the smart people were told to be quiet and humble and let their work speak, while the idiots were given free rein to have a personality.

People need to understand this: these billionaire tech bros teach their children Montessori and Waldorf methods which focuses on teaching kids the ability to focus for long periods, think critically, and be creative, while they push attention-destroying short form videos and AI onto the masses and pretend it’s for the good of humanity. They understand that your ability to focus and be creative is the main factor of success in the future, yet design apps that degrade those crucial life skills. The average person must be aware of this and resist this at all costs.

Wow. Been on Plum for ~5 years now. Paid in full for many products/ services on this map that I didn’t know had Plum perks 😭
📢 🗺️ We made a map for Bengaluru where we mapped out all the healthy spots in the city. We're calling it — Be Well Bengaluru ⭐ Pro tip: If you're a Plum member, look for places with Plum Perks. You'll be surprised to know how many of these services include discounts. Check it out: plumhq.com/health-map/bengal… S/O to @aditi_tibarewal and @ankitkr0 for the inspiration.

I’m clearly not a “remember to soak your dry fruits” or “eat a spoon full of seeds” kind of person but I am a pop some chocolate granola for small treats kind of person You don’t even need to remind me @saffrontrail’s recipe is fool-proof

Recipe video: Homemade granola that beats any store bought granola in flavour, quality and price. But you can’t eat a bowlful of this like cereal - all the nuts and seeds in it make portion control important.

this is a good moment to launch iknowaguy.help/bangalore/. now everyone is just a call away. i’ve already gotten two spots from the video fixed and cleared by just one phone call. before and after images below. most of us never try but the numbers for engineers, marshals, inspectors and elected officials are public. they're just scattered across a dozen websites. so you end up calling a generic helpline, get passed from person to person, and give up. i called mr. vijay, our area inspector. he was on site within 30 minutes and we walked all of 12th main together. we are working through every spot from caleb's video over the next 2–3 days. im going to fix everything shown in the video with BBMP. more updates soon.
The footpaths of 12th Main, Indiranagar are a mess. - Piles of rubble rivalling conflict zones - Trees doubling as dustbins - Missing/broken slabs - Inexplicable craters Billions in venture capital have been deployed in this part of town. The footpaths could use some love too.

no agents for busy moms? no? just dinner resos? no agents to track school schedules and game schedules and after-school activities? just flight bookings? sure... I guess.

The whole "you'll spent a lot of the time you're not with your kid looking at pictures of your kid" thing sounds REALLY fake until you have a kid.

No but you can give their name to policy bazaar dot com and shorten their peace in life
Can I buy life insurance in someone else's name, like shorting them personally?

What a wonderful article on the distinction between coffee as a commodity that produces stimulation and coffee as a practice that produces meaning.

Using ai to calibrate Montessori lessons to each of my children 💙💗 Montessori supplies can be overwhelming, ai helps me know exactly what to pull out and gives me custom lesson plans using what I own I gave photos and my Etsy receipts to ai so it knows what supplies I bought!
