Australia is repeating the same mistakes as California by adhering to overbearing environmental laws. Massively increasing construction costs by doing everything possible to avoid cutting down a few trees and upset NIMBYs.

lmao i don’t even hate australia, i love it. if you bothered to read the actual thread, the majority of australians agreed that suburbia there sucks, then we discuss how beautiful the rest of the country + nature + the beaches are.
