#Jordan: CPJ is alarmed by reports that U.S.-Jordanian journalist Ali Younes is facing trial and a travel ban in Jordan under the cybercrime law, which has frequently been used to target journalists and publishers. If convicted, Younes could face up to three years in prison. We call on Jordanian authorities to drop the charges against Younes and immediately lift the travel ban imposed on him

🇺🇸 🇯🇴 It's deeply concerning that American journalist @aliyounesUS has been detained and is currently banned from leaving Jordan for allegedly sharing an @amconmag article.
Hopefully, @USEmbassyJordan will work to facilitate his safe return to the U.S.

Leading legal efforts here in the US for Mr. Ali Younes, an American journalist currently detained in Jordan over an alleged retweet. Below is a statement from our office regarding the case.
Jordan must drop all charges immediately, and allow Mr. Younes to come back home. The Trump Administration needs to make this happen.

Fortunately there was a documentary about his murder making the rounds at film festivals this year: Sundance, and the Berlinale so far but more screenings scheduled. I hope it gets a wide release so more people can learn about him.

The First Amendment matters. We’ve filed suit.
The First Amendment protects the rights of individuals to engage with their elected officials on social media, when those officials use their accounts to conduct government business. We @adc along with @HassanShibly are suing @RepFine on behalf of @amasad for blocking Masad for pushing back on Fine’s bigoted rhetoric against Muslims. See you in Court, Congressman!

The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) National has launched a billboard campaign in New York City’s Times Square during Christmas celebrations.
The billboards claimed that “Jesus is Palestinian”, as they wished a “Merry Christmas”.
A second billboard featured verses from the Qur’an (3:45) about Jesus’ birth.
ADC described the billboards as “an act of cultural resilience”.

This is what it has come to. @RepFine campaign is $557,000 in debt.
The United States House of Representatives is now paying for his mailers out of “official funds.”
I would like to see one piece of legislation he voted for that cut “Trillions in wasteful spending.”
Do better.

This is not "interesting." It is defining for the future of our party. We must be for human rights, not take PAC & lobbyist money including AIPAC, & call out the genocide to win the trust of young voters & have America be a moral leader in the world again. Agree @VanLathan?

Congrats to @adc and all the good folks in California who worked to defeat these malign efforts to censor our speech in the interests of a genocidal, apartheid state.
Big win - Gov. Newsom has vetoed SB771 - major win that prevents further encroachment on our freedom of speech and expression in the digital space.
This was pro-Israel led effort aimed at silencing anyone who speaks out against the genocide, and Israel. This bill was the enforcement arm of IHRA. It started with unanimous support across both parties.
It ended with Americans from all political leanings saying enough is enough. We will not sit by and allow lawmakers in any state put Israel first, and give away our 1A to the Zionist lobby.

Look, a lot of people think City Journal is some kind of independent news magazine. Total fake-out. It’s not. They set it up to look like that—but it’s really just a front.
Right there in the bio they admit it’s part of the Manhattan Institute—but that doesn’t even scratch the surface. This so-called “journal” is bankrolled by some of the biggest, most powerful, Israel-first foundations and donors. Everybody knows it.
And let me tell you—when Ro goes to the largest gathering of Arabs in America, it terrifies them. They don’t want that. They don’t want the community strong, united, and speaking up.
Remember 2024? Our community had a HUGE impact in key states. Some Democrats finally woke up—they’re trying to win voters back. The Israel-first crowd? They’re panicking. They’re worried.
And here’s the question: why don’t these groups ever put America first? Why not the American people? That’s what we should all be asking.
Though @RoKhanna distanced himself from the event, his appearance at ArabCon, where panelists peddled pro-terror apologetics, raises questions about Democrats’ appetite for reining in their extremist wing. Read more from @thestustustudio:

We were told to mask up between peanuts or be treated like we were taking down the plane. That kind of absurdity fed secret watchlists where spite or bias could brand us threats.
We ended Quiet Skies, but we must stop government secrecy, over-classification, and surveillance of Americans.

At a time of rising prices and joblessness in America, Trump is providing $20 billion to failed Argentinian President Milei and billions to Netanyahu used for killing civilians in Gaza.
It is time for a new generation of leaders who will actually put American families first.
