fun things you get to see when working at @turbopuffer:
today i'm fixing my code because it exceeds `i64::MAX` when summing byte size of searched namespaces in the last minute.
that's 9,760,691,815,929,332,437 bytes. per minute. in a single production cluster.
9.8 exabytes :D
i joined team tpuf @turbopuffer
feeling super excited and energized!
one of my favorite things about onboarding is working with the team to come up with a bio for the newcomers :) @_sebgl @mashbourne

Family said they would get a « blockchain » for my son’s birthday. Now I understand better why there are so many cryptos if my 4yo can build his own.
That moment when, feeling relaxed in the shower, I turn off the water to hear if the kids are doing alright on the other side of the house:
(3yo talking to 1yo) « come on follow me I’ll show you how we can build airplanes with toilet paper »

I highly recommend @jpetazzo if you're looking for Kubernetes training for your team. Great balance of hands-on labs, troubleshooting sessions and experienced tips. With a strong focus on demonstrating (and discovering!) how things work directly from the terminal.

If you like complex time travel headaches in movies, then Primer is for you. It's about 2 engineers building stuff in their garage. Oh and it's a 7k$ budget movie.
