I've spent enough time complaining about the state of football in Cape Coast, so I put some ideas on paper about what we could actually do differently.
Kindly give it a read and let me know what you think kwabena-asare.medium.com/the…

🇩🇪 🚨 𝗡𝗘𝗪: Borussia Dortmund will REWARD fans who DON’T use their phones during matches!
The German club is introducing a new “Fan Mode” in its official app, where supporters earn points for every minute they go without unlocking their phones.
Fans who collect the most points can win SIGNED SHIRTS and shopping vouchers.
The initiative comes after a study found that 63% of supporters regularly use their phones during matches.

The only thing you have full control of is your skills and character.
And it’s one of the few constants that gives you stepping stones to success. Whether it’s a new job, or people who will plug you into the right opportunities.
It comes down to your skills and character

I think one of the best things you can do for yourself is to never stop learning.
Keep developing yourself, professionally and on a personal level.

Besides, there were so many instances on the campaign trail where she invoked her gender in her analysis of our problems and promised women she would fight for them. She set an expectation. So, there is nothing wrong with people asking her to fulfill that promise.

Does Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang hold any meaningful social capital that, by consequence, places upon her a distinctive expectation to rise above the lethargic, conventional responses to reported sexual abuse of teenage girls in schools?

If things were operating the way they should , the results will show. You can’t expect us to praise you for basics(even those are flawed). This administration is not honest. It’s either that or they are ignorant.
A football club's value also lies in the social experiences and connections it helps create.
Our football people have a very powerful tool in their hands, but they are barely scratching the surface of football's social potential.
I’ve seen politicians invoke all manner of biblical verses to justify their “call to serve,” but rarely do they turn to Isaiah 1:17, the verse that commands us to seek justice, defend the oppressed, and stand up for the vulnerable.

"Mr. I'm a chef, I cook politicians for a living" is now dining with politicians. Nobody cares about the country; nobody cares about the youth, as they claim... Obiaa yɛ selfish; Obiaa pɛ ne share of the national cake.

indeed, a group does not become class-conscious merely because its members chant the same slogans; class consciousness emerges when members understand their shared interests are connected and are willing to act collectively in pursuit of them

Ama Pratt giving this non-response after convening and hosting the obasima women empowerment summit just last week is vile.
Do the Obuasi girls not deserve justice and empowerment?
Ghanaian girls deserve better.

we've processed $3B+ in cross-border payments for 4,000+ businesses at @usewewire.
the biggest thing that volume taught us is that payments are the last mile of trade. before a business can send a payment, it has to find the money to buy the goods.
