Ma'am, you need new staff to run your office; your staff has failed you.
My campaign passed through Agogo Market on Tuesday. I engaged with the market women who danced to our music and expressed their wish for a chat.
I assured them of the NDC’s respect for women, its commitment to their welfare, especially in meeting the peculiar needs of women and children in many terms including economic and health needs, as well as issues that affect children.
I explained the Women’s’ Development Bank and its benefits for women to them and urged them to vote massively for H. E. John Dramani Mahama and the NDC to bring the change we all desire in the lives of women.

NDC is losing political capital to in defence of a rapist. This is who they are pulling all stops for? Now imagine how they would react if you tried to arrest their gslalamsey kingpins.
From what I know about the Obuasi SHTS case, there is no evidence from the victims alleging rape against headmaster Zakaria, but rather indecent assault. The issue has been blown out of proportion... - Haruna Amaliba (NDC Comms. Team Member)

A government’s response to sexual abuse should not end at “allowing the process to work”: it should speak to victims, show people where to report, educate the next generation, and make consequences visible.

Most Ghanaians don’t know a person who has ever been released from police custody on the their self recognizance. Even politicians and celebrities seldom get it for far less severe allegations. That’s how rare self recognizance bail is and this is who gets it.

“The female teacher complaining on social media about the poor condition of her school building should look at this school and its office. You’re making noise; if you can’t do the job, quit.”
- Teacher reacts to a female teacher’s complaint about her school’s condition, showing a rural school building made of wood that is on the verge of collapse, yet he continues to teach there.
The way you people are carrying on, one would think the NDC party benefitted from Zakaria "allegedly" raping those girls. The vice president is an intelligent enough woman to weigh in as an educator, woman & vice president. Even you that we didn't vote you are talking some!
Under no circumstance should the Vice President of the Republic Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, be stripped of her fullness of person and authority and reduced to simply, “A WOMAN,” with expectations that she must be the first to jump before cameras on all conversations on women and girls.
She must be respected in her fullness as a person and as Vice President. Any view that reduces her to simply a woman to jump to the media on all gender matters is the very antithesis of why she broke the glass ceiling.

If you think making the most powerful WOMAN in Ghana the face of a public effort to get to the bottom of the alleged rape of 19 young girls is "tokenism", then, yeah, we have a problem.
Replying to @garyalsmith
@garyalsmith Making Naana the default face of every gender issue is tokenism. We don't ask that of men. On this case, justice comes from investigators& courts, as the VP has said. Judge leaders by outcomes, not cam time.
So no, @fatheranthoni isn't playing with our intelligence

The headmaster of Obuasi SHTS, Zakaria Abdulai, was cautioned and granted self-recognisance bail.

I watched the full discussion, and it was very interesting.
@BBSimons’ central argument, as with many other issues, is that we fail to learn from our past mistakes. We keep trying to solve the same problems over and over without making meaningful progress.
So, what exactly will be different with the AI data centre?
The minister’s response included the fact that this is a Cabinet-backed decision. But that’s not really a solid answer. I can’t think of many major policies that would be implemented without Cabinet backing.
I think it’s easy to interpret positions like Bright’s as pessimism. But the questions he raises are important because our policy history shows that we have failed at many things.
What exactly are we doing differently this time, and how robust is the plan?
Before we even move to implementation, share the details, including the sequencing, and let’s debate the alternatives.
The usual rebuttals are that “we have to start from somewhere” or that “it’s too theoretical”. But if we haven’t made much progress by doing more of the same, isn’t that a cue for us to change course?

They always want the "yes" men because they can't say it as it is, even they know Mr. Minister is heading the wrong direction.

The government's general handling of this råpe issue has been shockingly bad.
People really vex.
If your sister were among the 19, is this what you want to hear the Vice President of your country (who is a woman) to be saying on national radio?
Disappointing.

If I speak now, people will say, "Kiss talks too much".
The Vice President, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, is exposed because of these people.
They are doing nothing for her in terms of communication.
Zilch.
Finally! Someone is telling it to his face on this Computer Center.
I wish we had tech journalists who could ask these questions of officials when it came to issues like this

Christians are so funny.
Y’all don’t read, you don’t question anything, you accept things as it is. Someone wrote a bible for you and you’ve never gone outside of the Bible to ask questions and read more. The bible has been filtered. Books have been taken out, stories have been manipulated cos it’s been translated waay too many times. Lots of things have been taken out cos they don’t want you knowing. Read outside the bible for crying out loud.
That’s how we were told Jesus Christ was white meanwhile he wasn’t.
Y’all need to have an open mind and read a lot more outside the bible and be ready to ask lots and lots of questions. Even in the Bible the books tell different stories from the same situations. Read to understand and with open minds and stop sticking to something you were taught in Sunday school or in church alone.
Anyways, let each one stick to what they believe. 🙏🏽
There's a special place in hell for "concerned" members of society who talk families out of pressing charges in such matters. The other girl must stay the course. She has the backing of the entire nation, even if the government has been useless to her.
