So apparently it is #InternationalVolunteerDay which means I should share (again!) how flexible and rewarding I’ve found the experience of being a regular volunteer at @TGFparkrun. It really is a regular highlight in my life. Check out @parkrunUK for opportunities near you.

Missed out this one earlier, the grand opening of tonight’s meet-up, @ldgovuk’s Emily Sullivan on #FutureCouncil research outputs. It’s a really sharp summary ‘state of the #localgov’ & evidences a clear case for some no brainer collaborative actions. A must read #FixThePlumbing

I love the feeling I get when I can manage to stitch & hack together bits of code that I only barely understand and make something that works! Maybe I’m smarter than I think?

We still have some great volunteering opportunities we'd like to get filled this Saturday. Please get in touch if you want to start your weekend doing something fun and rewarding with us at the beautiful Great Field!
Stuart our RD this week sharing his thoughts on a) why parkrun is AWESOME and b) how you can join in and help us out. Hope to see you all Saturday :0) fb.watch/lRb-272JbO/ 🍿🎬🌳💛🚶🏼🚶🏿♀️🏃🏾🏃🏾♀️🏃🏼♀️
I’ve been falling behind on posting to my blog and podcast these last few weeks but here is the latest episode from memofrom.me for those still following along… podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcas…

He’s barely sentient himself this morning but @_disco is out for his morning walk and babbling about AI & supermarkets!? 🤷♂️memofrom.me/memos/5-unexpect…

I find myself on tour this week. Bristol, London, Newcastle, London. Oddly looking forward to all the train travel.
What a beautiful day for a parkrun at @TGFparkrun 🎉🌳❤️🚶♀️🏃♂️ #loveparkrun (music credit: Philip E Morris)
I just attended a great meeting about better meetings!! Thanks @pixlz and @MrMikeRose for setting this up. It’s always lovely to be attend something like this locally and lots to takeaway.
Back from a lovely weekend spent camping near Woolacombe. I’ve been mean about Devon in the past, as it’s clearly not as awesome as Dorset (or Cornwall?) but we had a great time and we can all agree it’s superior to Somerset right?!
I built and started a little side project over the weekend. Check out memofrom.me to find out more, follow @memo_from_me on Twitter and subscribe in your favourite podcast app. 🙏
Good morning to be Run Director @TGFparkrun. Much drier than last week thankfully!
