It's been a while since I have posted on here. After some health issues and things with family, I'm glad to say I am back! What I would like to talk about is the incredible community we have on our site. We are still a relatively small community, still under 2k members, but it's felt more like something family run. What I have noticed is how much everyone looks out for each other, supports each other, and checks in with one another. They are making new connections and even friendships. Another great thing is how comfortable our members feel coming to me directly about changes they would like to see. Every day I look forward to seeing "Hey Jess..." in my inbox. TraderPods would not be what it is without our community! And I do my best to give each idea a place on our site, and I have done so since day 1. So many of our members have added in different design layouts, different features, different placements of features, different colors and visibility to buttons, and so much more. TraderPods was built by me, but has been personalized by our active members and to this day we continue to build and change things (so long as they make sense of course.) You won't find that on any other social media... excluding MySpace, which I hear is making a comeback, but that's off the subject 😜. You can't change layouts or features or visibility or even talk directly to the creators. You can here and I will always encourage the communication and sharing ideas! I, personally, value everyone's input and do what I can to make time for everyone because I see you all as important individuals coming together and doing great things. Study Groups relieve the frustrations of feeling stuck, lost, and alone. You can create or join a group around anything you want to learn or get better at. Whether that's reading SEC filings, understanding dilution, options, technical analysis, a new trading strategy, or even learning a specific platform or tool. You will find this feature under 'Education". There you will see a calendar where you can click on any date and start setting up your session. You will also see any upcoming sessions set by other users that you can request to join (this is also displayed on the dashboard under "Suggested Pods.) So, pick a topic, find some people who want to dig into it with you, and learn together! WE HAVE HIT A MILESTONE IN MEMBERS!! 🎉 TraderPods now has over one thousand members and it happened so fast. I have to give so much credit to @veptrader Without him, this site would not be what it is or where it is today. He put in so much effort in his tweets, his outreach, his podcasts with others, in building relationships and constantly talking about the site. I am not a trader in any form. I have never traded nor invested a single cent in my entire life. I did not know what it was that traders needed in something like this or how to help traders toward success in their journey. David basically gave me a list of demands, set up the programs, and I built it. Eventually we had our pre-launch crew and they gave me so much valuable input and helped me make TraderPods stronger. I couldn't be more grateful. On that note, we have also had so many members publicly talking about the site and that, too, has helped significantly and I thank you SO much! Your effort is not unnoticed. This entire process has really proved how valuable teamwork is. Having people next to each other and building each other up is what makes for real success. Quick update and an honest ask. TraderPods has doubled in size over the past few weeks, and half of that growth came in the last two days, which we are incredibly grateful for! If you signed up recently, welcome. If you've been here a while and drifted away, now is a good time to come take another look. Here's the honest part. Most of the posts on the Dashboard and in the Forums so far have come from me, David (@veptrader ), and David's lane is small-cap shorting and forensic research on dilution and capital structure. But that's one style out of dozens. TraderPods was never meant to be a small-cap short site. It's meant to be a home for every style: long momentum in large caps, options, swing trading, income and dividend strategies, crypto, futures, macro, long-term investing. If you came looking for one of those and didn't find it, that's not because it doesn't belong here. It's because nobody has planted the flag yet. So plant it. PLEASE! Post your watchlist. Post the setup you're looking at for Monday. Post the trade you took and why. It doesn't have to be polished. Think of the Dashboard like X or Twitter for traders, except the people reading it are actually here to trade, not to argue. Short posts, one idea, a chart if you have one. When you post in your style, two things happen: other members who trade that way find you and start posting too, and you end up with a group of people who actually speak your language.
