I try to turn the heavier parts of my life into paintings.
There are things I don’t know how to ask for, warmth, a conversation, an embrace, a reason to stay inside my own skin for a little longer. So I paint instead.(even a simple hug)
Maybe that’s why my art carries things I rarely say out loud.
Because no matter how much beauty surrounds a life, there are always quiet places where something feels out of place.
Maybe I paint through tears, and no one ever knows.
Maybe no one sees the moments between the strokes, or realizes that sometimes there is a person quietly falling apart behind the painting.
And perhaps that is what hurts my heart the most
that I can pour so much of myself into something, and still remain unseen

Collecting art isn’t a gamble. A gamble means there’s a chance you walk away empty-handed; when you buy a piece, you already took the prize home.
Just finished my Halloween piece🎃🪦
