💯...such a covid-vaccine-specific phenomenon that as a pharmacist I have found v interesting. The vast majority of pts would never question/care to know the manufacturer of their meds.
I gave 5 tetanus shots yesterday and not one person asked me the company that made them 🤷🏼‍♀️

Excellent article explaining omission bias and reference dependence in relation to vaccines and risk. Maybe if people were better informed about such cognitive biases & how these can affect our perception of risk of an action vs inaction this would decrease vaccine hesitancy
How the human mind evaluates risk of action & inaction when it comes to COVID-19 vaccinations, & what you can do to overcome common false reasoning tendencies & make a rational decision. @JoshuaLiaoMD @UWDeptMedicine @UW_VSSL bit.ly/3vmBaxo

We are seeing patients admitted to ICU with #COVID well after shot 1 and before shot 2. One isn't vaccinated until fully vaccinated. Given the significant delay between shots 1 & 2, clear communication on how to conduct oneself b/w shots from public health leaders would help.

Airborne transmission is the dominant route of spread of COVID-19. If you have to be indoors with ppl other than your immediate household, read & follow the guidelines. Adequate ventilation is key #COVIDisAirborne
NEW VENTILATION GUIDELINES—Canada🇨🇦 now stepped up with 2 new key sets of ventilation & air disinfection guidelines for both ‘at home’ and for ‘long term care homes’. Ventilation guidelines means 🇨🇦 acknowledges airborne transmission is critical. #COVID19 canada.ca/en/public-health/s…

#SleepAwarenessWeek - fitting as I just finished #WhyWeSleep by @sleepdiplomat. Highly recommend. Equal parts interesting and scary. Sleep affects virtually all aspects of physical & mental health in a huge way.
