EU/acc
The whole ruleset for businesses in Germany 🇩🇪 like imprint, VAT, advanced accounting, subscription handling etc should apply/be enforced either the business hitting milestones.
€0 revenue? Who cares about imprint or VAT
€100k? Gotta need an imprint now
€500k? Alright time to do proper accounting and VAT handling
€1M? Bro, get your GDPR game in order.
Best way to still keep large organizations accountable (for whine all these rules where made for) without crushing the founders and indie hackers starting out.

Eric Schmidt says it's going to be rare to see the successes in Europe that you see in America and the UK:
"The fundamental reason is that they can't get the capital and Europe's regulatory structure is so prohibitive
It's really sad because the European talent pool is amazing, the opportunity to build companies in terms of impact is huge
And frankly Europe's government and its regulation is slowing them down"

As Zengo’s growth accelerates, we’re delighted to acquire the stablecoin-focused @minkeapp wallet and welcome their customers to the Zengo community!
In recent months Zengo has witnessed all-time-high performance, surpassed 1 million registered customers, and welcomed the shift in investor demand towards self-custodial wallets with no seed phrase vulnerability or specific complex hardware.
Today, we’re delighted to accelerate Zengo’s growth as we acquire Minke Wallet and welcome their customers to the Zengo community (1/3) 🔽🧵

1/ Europe🤝Web3
The EU economy is struggling in the web era. Our share in global equity markets has halved over the past 20 years.
Web3 is THE opportunity we have long been waiting for. I wrote an article on why the EU should embrace crypto 👇🧵
law.stanford.edu/2021/11/12/…
We need to start making products that people “want” and not “have” to use.
Future of design on web3
1. Design will be the key differentiator
2. How we perceive identity will be changed.
All projects are open source on web 3.
Therefore, how intuitive the UI is and how good is the UX will be the key differentiator.

This actually makes a lot of sense

The second way is to prioritize smaller wallets. People who had a couple thousand or more of UST deposited in Anchor.
If Terra just focussed on the "poorest" 99.6% of wallets, then they could make this gigantic group 100% whole.
Yes, you read that right!
