This is a foolish constitutional amendment proposal. We already have a maxed out rainy day fund and have run the largest surpluses in state history.
Any additional revenue should be used for lower taxes, including assisting local governments with grants so that homestead properties can be exempt from local property tax. Surplus revenue could also be used to remove tolls once the property tax issue is settled.
I recommend a NO vote.

In 2018 the Florida Legislature passed, and then-Governor Rick Scott signed, legislation that effectively repealed gun rights for young adults, violating the Second Amendment.
While we have expanded Second amendment protections dramatically during my tenure, the Legislature hasn’t passed a bill to correct this particular mistake.
Rep, Donalds was unequivocal that if/when the Legislature passes a bill to address this problem he will sign the restoration of rights into law.
Good!

This is HUGE for the USMNT 🇺🇸 and Mexico 🇲🇽
If it happens, that means they get to face top European sides in COMPETITIVE games during the cycle… instead of crap friendlies.
This is a game changer.

What? Vance was the face of “Never Trump” and one of the nastiest members of that movement. His stated policy positions are more akin to Bush era GOP, not Trump and much of it is what the first wave populist tea party movement was against. Most Vance supporters now openly tell you Trump economic policy is failing.
Why do people feel like they have to foist politicians on the public through this kind of elitist shaming?

No answers, just the same script... 111 times.
Dr. Anthony Fauci stonewalled the Senate Homeland Security & Governmental Affairs Committee by repeatedly invoking the Fifth Amendment during today's hearing on COVID-19 and the former NIAID director's conduct throughout the pandemic.
"On the advice of counsel, I respectfully decline to answer based upon my rights under the Fifth Amendment of the Constitution."

The Fauci testimony before the Senate will be a typical performative DC spectacle: it will generate viral clips but ultimately will likely not lead to any real accountability.
While Fauci’s diaries are generating merited criticism, they haven’t really told us anything we haven’t known for years about the failures of the elites during Covid.
Newly released diary entries from Dr. Anthony Fauci are drawing renewed scrutiny over his role during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The documents, released by Sen. Rand Paul, detail Fauci's private notes on school closures, the virus' origins and his rise to international prominence. Fauci is expected to face questions about the entries during a Senate hearing tomorrow.

U.S. Soccer is exploring a complete overhaul of the youth soccer system amid renewed scrutiny of pay-to-play following the USMNT's Round of 16 World Cup exit — with the goal of making the game more accessible and affordable 🇺🇸⚽️
U.S. Soccer COO Dan Helfrich: “We are not seeking to make the current system more affordable. We’re trying to create a new system that then we make highly affordable. It’s a really important distinction.”
Arsène Wenger, speaking alongside Helfrich at U.S. Soccer’s headquarters outside Atlanta: “From outside, I felt that people from a poor background had no access to the game. That is quite a big part of the population that usually in Europe, the best football players come from poor backgrounds. We want maybe a job to do as well to make it possible and available for everybody and after to be consistent because it’s not a short-term fix.”
The discussion centered on how the federation can continue growing the sport after what U.S. Soccer CEO JT Batson called an “incredibly successful” World Cup that “has fundamentally changed the trajectory of the sport in the United States.”
