The main problem with vibe-coded games isn't bad code or even AI art.
It's that you can generate years of implementation in days, but not years of playtesting, iteration, and design judgment.
A game can be finished in a weekend.
That doesn't mean it's been designed.
There are some dubious claims about AI enabling game developers to do amazing stuff. For example, to change the perspective in classic games, from top to FPP, or whatever.
This is something I did many times (starting with roguelike IVAN in 2005). No AI is needed for that.
Definitely not literally as easy as changing coats but you get that idea. IIRC Caves of Qud devs livestreamed moving from Unity to Godot in 2023, in approx 14 hours, a similar kind of game as Rimworld.
I think that, in general, popular opinions about something being hard are often exaggerated.
BTW I am publishing IVAN on Steam (including the 3D mod I mentioned in this thread):

@ZenoRogue I'm in the craziest run of my life
Stacking movement orbs is so op, 258 elixir of life + 142 onyx + 110 statues of cthulu means I'm gliding almost 100% of the time

You know what? He's right.
As a PC gamer, I am personally responsible for every game that has failed.
I don't build the game,
I don't write the game.
I don't market the game.
I don't set the price.
I just commit the cardinal sin of not buying the game.
How could I do such a horrible thing like have standards for what I buy.
I deeply apologize to all of you for allowing the game industry to fail by not buying games that don't interest me.
I promise to continue doing absolutely nothing to help bad games succeed.

Spamming spells unleashes pure chaos for the poor skeletons. It looks fancy, but it’s actually a bug. 😺
