ALT Image of computer keyboard, with a purple colour overlay and text reading: "Accessibility in government should be a priority because often, people don't choose to use our services; they have to. This is either because they're a member of the public needing to interact with the justice system, or they're a member of staff trying to perform their daily tasks. We're witnessing a growing awareness of accessibility among our staff, which represents significant progress. However, we must continue to raise awareness, as it is now a legal requirement actively monitored by GDS."

Our courses are consistently fully booked, with waiting lists, and our consultancy services are projected to attract even more demand than we can currently handle. We aim to expand our champions' network, integrate accessibility training into the onboarding process, and find ways to embed accessibility within product and project teams to ensure accessibility is prioritised throughout development."
