Decentralized AI frees the world from censorship and bias. $tao bittensor.com
There is zero chance this vehicle is going to fly - the physics of it are near impossible - so what are your actual expectations of today's unveil?

Musk has discussed since 2018 how cold gas thrusters could allow the Roadster to fly short hops. At the October 15 event the prototype used them to become fully airborne for over 1 second.

if you're using openrouter, give engy.ai/r/Algod a try.
Better priced and better customer service.

5 months ago I said I wouldn’t be surprised to see @SynthdataCo double their MRR.
They did. Synth confirmed revenue is now above $2M ARR (vs $840K back then) → top 10 revenue-generating $TAO subnet, and probably very close to top 5.
And the ratio got even better : over the same period, MC dropped to $6.3M.
→ revenue / MC went from 0.072 to ~0.32
So now it really comes down to one thing : trust in the team. Trust in their involvement with the subnet and Bittensor, in the numbers they're sharing, and in their willingness to reinject value and part of the revenue into SN50 through buybacks.
If they deliver on that, Synth is extremely undervalued.
Replying to @SynthdataCo
@SynthdataCo is imo one of the $TAO subnets that has shown the best progress toward real client adoption and profitability, if we trust the numbers shared in their last update.
These numbers might position SN50 as the best subnet in terms of revenue / valuation ratio. Quick comparison with other subnets that communicate on revenues :
- @SynthdataCo : $840,000 ARR for $11.65M MC → ratio = 0.072 (~$70K MRR)
- SN64 @chutes_ai : $5,700,000 ARR for $111.57M MC → ratio = 0.051 (based on last 90 days revenue annualized)
- SN93 @Bitcast_network : $487,200 ARR for $14M MC → ratio = 0.034 (based on last month revenue annualized)
Ofc this ratio alone isn’t enough, there are many other factors to consider :
- Chutes and Bitcast are already doing buybacks
- They have transparent dashboards for revenues + buybacks
- FDV
- Chutes and Bitcast communicate better and clearer imo
- Investor confidence (future growth, scaling, etc.)
- Track record / trust (Chutes has shown consistent revenues and buybacks, it's the current and solid leader)
- Burns
- Teams
As stated before, I took a position on Synth around current prices (full transparency).
Even if they still have a lot to improve, especially on communication and transparency (which matters a lot in this ecosystem), I think SN50 is undervalued at this level.
They’ve managed to generate solid revenue very quickly after launch, which shows a strong early dynamic. Wouldn’t be surprised to see them announce they have doubled their current MRR by end of Q2 if this trend continues.
Revenue trend looks positive, TAM is large, founder has experience… let’s see how it plays out.
Main thing now : execution + improving weak points. That could make a big difference imo.
Very big deal

Looking forward to support @BrettHarrison with @engyai to make inference markets more efficient.
Inference need proper markets and im certain Brett is one of the most qualified persons out there to figure this out.
Proud to be a day-1 provider on @Architect_Fi. Inference need real markets and we're bringing capacity to help build them. Congrats @BrettHarrison and team.

Proud on @engyai growing 100% MoM in revenue while not relying on OR or other distributor channels. We are processing 4-5b Kimi k3 tokens daily and scaling upwards. If you're still using OR, take some time to test it out.
Better pricing and better customer service

In 2015, Bitcoin was right there, in front of me.
I ran into it ten times. I never stopped. Like everyone else, I shrugged, and I let it go by.
The hard part was not understanding Bitcoin.
The hard part was stopping for it. Giving it an hour, a page, one real try. The people who got it were not smarter. They had tried.
Eleven years later, I feel the exact same thing about Bittensor. A network where artificial intelligence belongs to no one, where the rules are public, and whose currency is capped like bitcoin. All around me, the same "this is too complicated for me."
This time, I stopped for it. And I wrote the book that lets you do the same in a weekend.
I wrote it for people who know nothing about any of this. Every technical word explained once, in one sentence. A city, its districts, its craftsmen and its jury to understand the machine without a single diagram. And the risks as a whole part of the book, not a footnote.
It will not tell you what to buy. It predicts nothing. It gives you what you need to judge for yourself.
"The Bitcoin of AI" is out October 12 on Amazon, in English and in French.
If someone around you says "I don't get any of this," I wrote it for them.
In 2015, nobody handed me this book.
In 2026, I am handing it to you.

Understood, let me work on it. Need some kernel tweaks for other GPUs, best shape for more memory, etc. etc. The 8b models are just for ultra fast, cheap formula-building, not the ultimate target. 100b is the sweet spot, runs nicely on apple, 5090, dgx spark, whatever. Larger is nice too, but I think ~100b with this arch is the dream, perfect balance.
I truly believe the most important and powerful AGI system in human history will be run and organized in a decentralized way, and the protocol is most likely Bittensor.
As a subnet builder, I see endless possibilities in what this protocol enables. Bittensor has evolved a lot through real practice, and no other protocol has come this far.
Bitcoin decentralized money. Bittensor is decentralizing intelligence
$TAO 2030 is our case for Bittensor becoming a $1tn+ ecosystem by 2030

SN50 $TAO’s @SynthdataCo just became one of the most sophisticated financial AI operations running.
Why is nobody talking about it.
Here's what's actually happening.
Synth runs a continuous machine learning competition where 200+ models compete 24/7 to generate the most accurate probabilistic forecasts of real financial markets.
Not price predictions.
Not BTC goes up.
Full probability distributions:
1,000 simulated price paths per submission, scored against reality.
The best models win. The winnings fund live trading.
Then they just raised the bar again.
Volatility CRPS is now live.
This is the part most people won't understand but should.
Getting a price target right isn't enough for a trading system.
Two models can predict the same price and imply completely different risk profiles along the way.
A quiet market that suddenly bursts is not the same as steady chop throughout the hour and if your model doesn't know the difference, you're mispricing options, miscalculating liquidations, and mismanaging position size.
Volatility CRPS fixes this.
Miners now get scored not just on where price ends up, but on the shape of volatility across the full hour across four 15-minute blocks and twelve 5-minute blocks.
This tells Synth's trading system not just how much volatility to expect. But when to expect it.
That changes everything like:
Market-making spreads
Position sizing
Execution timing
Options and volatility pricing
Liquidation-risk estimates
Hedging decisions
This is institutional-grade forecasting infrastructure.
Being built in public. On Bittensor.
Let that sink in.....
The REVENUE numbers EVEN back it:
Estimated annual revenue: $1M–$2M.
Revenue confidence:
HIGH. Revenue margin: HIGH.
And they used that revenue to execute a $100,000 Alpha buy tying commercial performance directly to subnet economics.
This is one of the top ten revenue-generating subnets in the entire Bittensor ecosystem.
Not because of hype.
Because they built something real and people pay for it.
Synth Ultra is also live ultra-low-latency modelling for HFT systems, scoring at 10-second horizons.
HFT firms have spent decades trying to own that window. Synth opened it to a decentralized network.
The dashboard is live right now at dashboard.synthdata.co BTC volatility forecasts, price percentile distributions, Polymarket predictions, 0DTE options pricing, liquidation probabilities, liquidity provision signals.
All powered by the top 10 models from 200+ competitors on a decentralized Bittensor contest.
I get that its still early infra. Revenue at $1-2M is meaningful proof but not yet at scale. And volatility forecasting is a hard problem, even the best models miss when markets go non-linear.
The score tells you how accurate the distribution was in aggregate, not that it predicted the flash crash.
But that's the point of the competition.
Every round forces models to get better.
Every upgrade to the scoring mechanism raises the floor.
Most people see a crypto subnet and think: tokens, speculation, memes.
What Synth built is a quant fund with no head trader and 200+ competing analysts who get paid only when they're right.
That model doesn't exist anywhere else.
I hold $TAO and subnet positions.
Not financial advice always DYOR.
1/ Introducing Volatility CRPS Updated

Read this and explain to me how @SynthdataCo (subnet 50) is only worth $7 million.
Seems like the most undervalued subnet out there IMO.
New partnerships, enterprise access, and improving their forecasting models.
$1 - $2 million in revenue with high revenue confidence.
$100k buybacks

First, why it's possible at all. Most distributed training is data parallel, so every machine holds the whole model and size is capped by one machine. iota is pipeline parallel: each machine holds a slice, so model size scales with the network.

Engy is getting faster.
Pareton now tunes how @engyai runs its models. Quicker replies. Same API on your side.
Engy is one of the fastest-growing inference networks on @bittensor and beyond. A big customer with serious traffic. That is the workload we were built for.

It is essential that we continue to show the world that there is an alternative to centralized nation state intelligence. We can only do that by becoming integrated as a single token economic layer: built, owned, and run collectively and freely by and for you.

I dramatically underestimated the value of Grok Bot in my Tesla.
Can you technically do everything you’re able to do with Grok Bot in the Tesla just by launching the app on your phone and going voice mode? Sure.
But the magic isn’t in the raw capability itself, it’s in the combination of raw capability and total seamlessness.
I often have fleeting thoughts while driving around. Some of these things aren’t significant enough to make me fumble around with my phone while supervising FSD, but when I literally don’t have to lift a finger and can just “Hey Grok” anything computer related into reality, I find myself taking advantage daily. And the little things add up.
I’m on my way to work and remembered that I have a few documents on my home computer that I am going to need for work. So I just asked “Hey Grok, can you grab those 4 pdf files from my Mac downloads folder and move them into X folder on my one drive?” Now they’ll be where I need them to be when I get to my desk, and I won’t have to re-download them on my work machine.
I have to work on a presentation today for a talk in a few weeks. “Hey grok, go into my sales enablement folder and have Claude Code build me a deck focused on X product for Y industry.” Claude already has my full job context, styling preferences etc and can build a nearly finished deck with a prompt. Now when I get to my desk, instead of building from scratch, I can review and prompt revisions before beginning to dig through my email backlog.
Feels insane.
