$TAO >> Clarity is alpha << $dTAO BITTENSOR - THE MASKS ARE COMING OFF. 🎭 Something important is happening on Bittensor. And I believe the coming weeks will be fascinating to watch. 🍿 First, credit where credit is due. Outstanding investigative work by the Tensia Foundation team. 🔍 (@TensiaFDN) Their latest investigation into SN35, SN70, SN103 and SN36 highlights troubling patterns involving wallet connections, concentrated mining rewards, Alpha sales and emission distribution. The evidence directly connects three of these subnets. SN36 shows striking similarities, but common ownership has not been proven. This distinction matters. Transparency must be built on evidence, not speculation. But this investigation raises a much bigger question about Bittensor. For years, some subnet owners have presented themselves as committed, community-minded builders. Yet appearances and economic incentives do not always tell the same story. Some may have been extracting value since the early days of dTAO while maintaining a reassuring public image. And let's be clear: intelligence alone does not make someone a valuable contributor to the network. What matters is how that intelligence is used. Fortunately, there is another side to this story. Bittensor is full of talented, genuinely committed builders who believe in what they are creating. Teams developing real products, competing, innovating and working toward commercial adoption. These are the people who deserve more visibility, recognition and capital. And the protocol is gradually giving us better tools to distinguish between them. @const_reborn continues to introduce significant changes to Bittensor. Some are technically complex, sometimes difficult for ordinary participants to follow or fully understand. But when those changes produce tangible results, their value becomes clearer. We saw the introduction of conviction mechanisms. Now eTAO brings another important evolution: subnet owners can make economic choices that reveal more about their priorities. Some will reward miners to encourage stronger competition. Others will prioritize validators. Some may voluntarily reduce their own share to demonstrate long-term conviction. And others may choose to maximize what they receive. None of these decisions tells the whole story on its own. But together with on-chain activity, they give investors more information than ever before. That is progress. Because Bittensor doesn't just need better technology. It needs trust. And trust must be earned through transparency, measurable results and accountability. Your TAO has always represented economic influence within this network. Where you allocate it matters. Now, with increasingly transparent mechanisms and people like the Tensia team making on-chain information accessible, investors have more opportunities to make informed decisions. The coming weeks may reveal some uncomfortable truths. They may also provide an extraordinary opportunity to shine a spotlight on the builders who have been doing things right all along. We should celebrate those builders. And we should warn the community when verifiable evidence points to potentially extractive behavior. No witch hunts. No blind accusations. Just evidence, transparency and accountability. Read the investigation. Verify the transactions. Follow the incentives. Make your own decisions. The network is evolving. The tools are improving. And the excuses for remaining uninformed are becoming fewer. Clarity is Alpha. 🔍 Credit: Tensia Foundation >> tensia.foundation

Mark wrote "Bitcoin Explained Simply" back in 2013. Having him share the book that tries to do the same for Bittensor means a lot. Thank you, @markjeffrey If someone around you keeps asking what Bittensor is, this is the book to hand them. In English and in French.

Thank you Kyoshi. That's the whole idea: the book you hand to the friend who keeps asking what Bittensor is, so you don't have to start from scratch every time. In French and in English.
It’s not all doom and gloom in France 😅 Want to understand #Bittensor without drowning in technical jargon? Looking for a gift for a normie friend? My buddy @rocp34 has written a book that explains $TAO from the ground up. Already a #1 bestseller on Amazon France 🇫🇷

Kindle, a few chapters, then the paperback ordered. That’s how it starts. One book on a shelf, one friend asking “what’s TAO?”, and suddenly they’re down the rabbit hole. Thank you for reading, and for giving it a place at home.

I got the Kindle version and read a few chapters , ordered the actual book which arrives tomorrow, thanks for the great work , and now I can have a TAO book on my shelf for others to notice.

The Bitcoin of AI has been free on Kindle all week. I never said a word. No trick. I wanted anyone who made the effort to want to learn to be rewarded the moment they added the book to their cart. Our job is to make this ecosystem easy to understand for those who want to. Tensia gives away its research, its tools and its bots for the same reason. Last day. Free until midnight, Pacific time.

Everyone has someone around them who doesn't get AI. Or crypto. Your neighbor, who thinks ChatGPT is magic. Your mom, who swears by her savings account. Your coworker, who asks you at every coffee break what you see in Bittensor. I wrote this book for them. No code. No jargon. A city, its districts, its craftsmen, its jury, so they finally get what you've been trying to explain for months. Some gifts are forgotten in a week. This one can change how someone sees the future. The Bitcoin of AI. Link in the replies.

Let me show you around a city. Not a city of offices. A city of workshops, open day and night. Every district has its trade. Here, they rent out computing power by the hour, like an Airbnb for AI. There, they run AI models for apps all over the world. Further on, tools compete to spot mutations in DNA. In each district, craftsmen from all over the world compete with their machines. A jury scores what comes out of the workshops. The best get paid the most. No company runs this city. Its rules are written in a public ledger anyone can read. Its currency, TAO, is limited to 21 million units, like bitcoin. This city exists. It's called Bittensor. Why it fascinates me: AI is already changing work, school, medicine. Today, the most powerful AI belongs to a handful of companies. Bittensor asks a simple question: what if AI were built by everyone, and belonged to no one? It can fail. It's young, it changes its rules, its foundation still holds the keys, and it has real critics. But the idea deserves to be understood by everyone. I'm not an engineer. I got it. So can you. So I wrote a book for exactly that. For your mom. Your neighbor. You. The Bitcoin of AI. Out today.

Last week I told you I passed Bitcoin by ten times in 2015. So I wrote the book I wish someone had handed me back then. No jargon. No price targets. No platform to sign up for. How Bittensor works, why it might matter, and how it can fail. The Bitcoin of AI. Tomorrow.
In 2015, Bitcoin was right there, in front of me. I ran into it ten times. I never stopped. Like everyone else, I shrugged, and I let it go by. The hard part was not understanding Bitcoin. The hard part was stopping for it. Giving it an hour, a page, one real try. The people who got it were not smarter. They had tried. Eleven years later, I feel the exact same thing about Bittensor. A network where artificial intelligence belongs to no one, where the rules are public, and whose currency is capped like bitcoin. All around me, the same "this is too complicated for me." This time, I stopped for it. And I wrote the book that lets you do the same in a weekend. I wrote it for people who know nothing about any of this. Every technical word explained once, in one sentence. A city, its districts, its craftsmen and its jury to understand the machine without a single diagram. And the risks as a whole part of the book, not a footnote. It will not tell you what to buy. It predicts nothing. It gives you what you need to judge for yourself. "The Bitcoin of AI" is out October 12 on Amazon, in English and in French. If someone around you says "I don't get any of this," I wrote it for them. In 2015, nobody handed me this book. In 2026, I am handing it to you.
