I think recency bias against RTD2 (reality war being unsatisfying, Xmas 2026, tender etc) is making people forget just how terrible the Chibnall era was for the most part. Bland, boring, uninteresting main cast, truly awful dialogue. RTD2 all the way, at least it was ambitious

We allowed gender expectations to spill over into women’s sports to make them palatable. Sports typically thrive on rivalry, intense emotion, even extreme competitiveness, but we keep trying to portray female sports as “wholesome entertainment” and I fear it’s not helping.

When he came in last season it was good to watch & direct. We've now got a lesser squad and he tinkers and micro manages and sets us up in a way where it's inevitable we concede goals.

A protester yelled “RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES” at JD Vance yesterday before being thrown out, and Vance suggested the guy was an illegal immigrant, knowing nothing about the guy other than he had slightly brown skin. Really remarkable stuff.
