$QURE Occam’s razor said it probably didn’t work. I usually trust Occam’s razor.

To be honest I have never really cared about this $NKTR $LLY trial. Data is going to be what moves the stock up or down no matter what happens in court. Hopefully they get some non-dilutive $ but they're funded to Ph3 so who really cares

I don’t know if I’m connecting dots that don’t exist but in small cap biotech (~$200 million) a large stock move in either direction, if around when you’d expect data, usually predicts the quality of the result.

$PESI Censoring your political opponents when you stand to gain from it financially is pretty cool, I see the appeal HAB doesn't make decisions on grouting acceleration at Hanford, but at least nobody is exposed to their opposition to it any more thanks to this DOE strong-arm

We know that vHOT is a noisy endpoint with low correlation to splicing correction and $DYN is already moving away from it. I am wondering if $NVS, when they say “evidence of activity on secondary and exploratory endpoints” is sitting on that data so as to not hand their informational advantage, re: endpoint selection, over to $DYN and $PEPG for free. Their massive headstart over competition is already jeopardized enough. I don’t see this as a thesis killer for splicing correction in DM1, but we’ll see. The upside that yesterdays fail added to $PEPG is enormous, if it ends up working

If there’s one person in the entire US that deserves to contract measles it’s @SenBillCassidy
No one needs to die from measles in 2026. Misinformation and misguided policies are leaving children unprotected against a disease we know how to prevent. The vaccine is safe and effective. Parents should talk to their doctor about protecting their children from this disease.

Pretty soon we get to see round 2 of @BillCassidy vote to confirm a vaccine-denier and then whine incessantly when they continue to deny the safety/efficacy of vaccines
While I respect Dr. Overton’s experience as a physician, I have strong concerns about her nomination to be FDA Commissioner. Her lack of managerial experience does not prepare her well for leading a large organization that is already dealing with staffing and morale issues. Additionally, Dr. Overton’s active role in last week’s nonsensical vaccine executive order calls into question her commitment to standing up for sound science and protecting children’s health. That alone is almost disqualifying.

We don’t really need this when we have Chinese biotech slave labor speeding up the drug discovery process. Also, drug discovery is not the bottleneck for creating therapies. My $0.02
Many drugs work by binding to a specific target in the body and blocking or changing what it does. An important first step in the drug development process is designing a molecule that can bind tightly to its target. Traditionally, that's meant weeks or months of expert work per target, sifting through a large number of candidates to identify the few that work. We wanted to test if Claude could successfully design novel protein binders from scratch (also called de novo design). With a protein design prompt written by a human expert, Claude autonomously designed protein binders against 14 out of 15 targets. We then worked with Adaptyv Bio and Twist Bioscience, who independently built and tested the proteins Claude designed.

Bravo to $AMLX not only for voluntarily pulling their ALS drug from the market after it failed its confirmatory trial, but for finding/buying avexitide for a measly $35M

Put a 5-HT2A agonist on that bad boy too
What about this? Innovent's GLP1/GIP/GCG receptor agonist combined with a PCSK9 antibody... in the same molecule.
