Monitoring geomorphic events at high spatial and temporal resolution is now possible, even in areas with poor accessibility. With our colleagues from @pucp and @eli_uclouvain we monitored topographic changes in huayco-prone areas in the Peruvian Andes. @ARESfwb_be

In hotspots of geomorphic change we report erosion rates of about 9500 t/km²/yr based on 4D topographic monitoring with UAV-PPK-SfM techniques.
