I am once again reminding you that Solana stakers can override their validators using the dashboard to vote.

The voices come out loud near the end of voting and never before.
A tale as old as time.
Or something something, go vote, something, propose your own, something.

There are 2 ways to vote on SGPs:
1. Connect your validator identity or stake account withdraw authority to governance.solana.com to vote via the UI.
2. Use the svmgov command line tool: crates.io/crates/svmgov to vote with your validator identity or your stake account withdraw authority. Docs for svmgov are here: docs.governance.solana.com/s…
The voting ends in just under 24 hours at the end of epoch 1023. Go Vote! 🗳️

This data also shows that the massive slot lagger, DeFi Dev Corp, is operated by Temporal themselves. They used the same box to failover multiple validators in their fleet, including DFDV.

~1/5 of all active SFDP validators are controlled by just three coordinated operators.

two reasons:
1) it is in everyone's best interest to incentivize developers to learn to write good code instead of yeeting slop at the chain and complaining about it being slow.
2) solana is uniquely good for spot trading. cheaper updates is the best way to see more pairs trade.

It is really important that more builders make their voice heard like Eugene has here
We cannot possibly make Solana the best place for trading onchain if builders do not shape the development of the protocol
SGP-0003 will make Solana a worse home for applications. It is a highly opinionated proposal dressed up as neutral. It penalizes applications the author deems to be poor uses of blockspace.
It is difficult to bet your business on a platform if the economics of the platform are subject to violent thrash. Even the fact that 0003 has made it this far is already damaging to Solana.
To the other vibe economists out there—surely you should have some model for how demand will change when price increases by 10x, rather than blindly assuming burn = today's demand x tomorrow's price.

🆕: Individual Solana stakers may soon be able to vote on network changes! 🗳️

If you are in crypto with size, a strategic
Reserve company, fund, exchange and haven’t met the node40 team you are wasting serious money
Like the cold card flaw, you can skimp all you want but when you are audited it needs to be done precisely. Crypto is math so it needs to balance to near zero!

we found a bug in the Aptos Move VM that put up to $70B at systemic risk. type confusion at the execution layer. a ~90% success rate across hundreds of simulated runs on a 30+ validator cluster. cost to build the attack infrastructure: $3,000.
Conducted by @kemmio , to our knowledge this is the first public research that showcases how to land a sophisticated multi-block attack in real-world environments. It includes mempool feng shui, block production specifics and about a dozen of other primitives and tricks chained to get to near-perfect exploitation results.
Nonetheless, Aptos called it "extremely low exploitability."
