Today we are flying the Braithwaite House flag at half mast to remember Dr Hill who sadly passed away yesterday. Dr Hill joined Victoria College as the Head of Chemistry in 1973, a position he held until his retirement in 1996.

Science technicians save schools £millions every year in the UK. Their skills and expertise should never be underestimated. Making technicians redundant as a money saving measure is idiocy and shows how out of touch school leaders are when it comes to recognising technical roles.
