On 04.10.2026, the Director of Medical Services inspected Dengue fever prevention & control measures in Attur HUD, Salem District.
He reviewed fever ward preparedness at Attur GH, including fever management protocols, vital monitoring, mosquito nets, drugs, oxygen, investigations for dengue/scrub typhus/leptospirosis and other infections.
Field activities in Attur Municipality Ward 6 were also reviewed, with emphasis on source reduction, DBC work, fogging, insecticide availability, water storage practices and IEC activities.

The Attur MLA (AIADMK) cannot be heard or seen? Has the River taken him? He did build a good bridge over it in the last term and it needs to be tested with real water flowing beneath.
You do not need to be in 'ruling power' to get things done. Being an MLA is powerful enough! And that railway overbridge from Attur to Rasipuram, is a never-ending story.
