🇿🇼 Young Zimbabweans represented us at the Southern Africa Media Summit (SAMS), which we attended in partnership with @misazimbabwe , supported by @FranceZimbabwe and @CFImedias . ➡️At SAMS, youth played a vital role as panelists and exhibitors of our work. 🎯Among our exhibitors was @MaraparaSh37023 , who shared her experience: 🎤"In a time where misinformation and disinformation can spread faster than facts, information has become a powerful tool that can either strengthen communities or deepen divisions. Young people, who are among the most active users of digital platforms, have a responsibility to challenge false narratives, verify information, and use their voices to promote justice, accountability, and social progress. The summit reminded me that activism in the digital age requires not only passion but also knowledge, responsibility, and integrity. Discussions on artificial intelligence and the future of media also highlighted the need for young people to actively engage with emerging technologies. Technology should not only be viewed as a space for entertainment but as a tool for empowerment, advocacy, and social change.
