Thank you Morgan for giving the Zimbabwean people hope during the darkest times…when the Mugabe regime had taken away all hope. Thank you for the sacrifice & the boldness of choosing to speak out when it was not fashionable to do so. You will always be remembered for your unselfish sacrifices, your courage & your inspiring wisdom.

We have been assured by the police that no one received a “ sweet” from Wicknell. At this stage, we have no reason to disbelieve the police, and consequently, we advise the public that this matter is closed.
🔷UPDATE
The Zimbabwe Republic Police has denied ever receiving gifts from Wicknell Chivhayo, distancing itself from the reported offer/donations of bulletproof vehicles, cash and iPhones.

No external force is the main barrier. Zimbabwe’s resources and diaspora flows stay underused because insecure property rights, policy swings and elite capture keep investment and formal jobs scarce. Until institutions prioritise long-term rules over short-term control, poverty and informality will persist.

This Barca fan just said Rhaphinha is the best player at the club right now… & the numbers are starting to agree 🔥
He is the captain, leading La Liga in goals early this season, highest-rated player & turning into a clinical false 9 under Flick. Meanwhile Lamine Yamal is still the golden boy everyone’s talking about.
Is the fan cooking or is this the hottest take of the season?
Who’s actually the best player at Barcelona right now, Rhaphinha or Yamal?

Yesterday and today, I had the privilege of interviewing Judith Todd, a remarkable woman who has spent more than six decades challenging political injustice in Zimbabwe. She rejected white minority rule, joined the nationalist movement and became a member of ZAPU in the 1960s. In 1964, she was convicted for leading a student protest against the banning of the African Daily News. She later studied journalism at Columbia University and wrote two books challenging Ian Smith’s regime, both banned in Rhodesia.
In 1972, Smith’s government detained her and her father without charge. After independence, she returned to Zimbabwe, helped rehabilitate former liberation fighters, stood as a ZAPU parliamentary candidate and served on the Zimpapers board. She later became a founding shareholder of the Daily News in 1998. In 2003, she was stripped of her Zimbabwean citizenship but won the case.
Two fascinating days recording the life of a woman who has not only witnessed Zimbabwe’s history but helped shape it
Tried using Google Maps to find places in Honde Valley and noticed that many places are not mapped.
I decided to start adding them three days ago. Really happy to see them appearing.
Mapped more today!

It is sad that we lost our dedicated trade unionist Kudakwashe Munengiwa. He was known for his commitment to justice for workers . Munengiwa was also a politician fighting for democratic change in Zimbabwe. Rest in peace my brother. We are going to continue with the struggle.

🚨Fireworks at Bayern Munich’s Hotel in Stavanger Norway 🇳🇴‼️
Bayern Munich’s preparations for their UEFA Champions League fixture against Viking FK in Stavanger were disrupted in the early hours of the morning when fireworks were set off outside the German club’s team hotel.
The incident occurred at around 1:15 a.m. at the Radisson Blu Atlantic, less than 20 hours before kick-off, and appeared deliberately intended to disturb the players’ rest. The pre-match disturbance is viewed as a clear disadvantage for Bayern ahead of the away clash in Norway.
