Hardest part of being an owner isn’t working hard, it’s ignoring things. There are 100 tasks that all matter, all move the needle slightly. Then there are 2 or 3 that, if you get them right, nothing else matters. Hormozi talks about this and it stuck with me. Lately I’ve been forcing myself to stop and ask, what are the actual needle movers here? Not what’s urgent, not what’s easy to check off, what actually changes the trajectory. Then do those first. Everything else waits. Brutal to implement. The small stuff screams louder. But the small stuff was never going to get me where I’m going anyway.

Shopify just placed a 30% reserve on our payouts for 120 days because we run preorders. If someone knows anyone who can help that would be amazing dm’s open or please comment. We are a real Canadian business with 3 physical showrooms and staff on the phones, not a dropshipper. Here is the reality: • Zero chargebacks across our entire preorder group. One payment dispute in all of 2026, on a January order that was delivered. • We personally call every preorder customer, keep them updated by email, and instantly refund anyone who would rather not wait, no fees, no questions. That is exactly why we have no chargebacks. • Our replacement inventory is bought and paid in full, about US$84,700 wired to our manufacturer, and on the water with our freight forwarder, arriving Aug 19, which clears our entire backlog. • We already sent full evidence: supplier invoices, the wire payments, freight tracking, real customer replies, and an order by order tracker. Holding 30% of our money does not protect customers. It starves the exact cash we use to pay our suppliers and fulfill their orders. It manufactures the chargebacks it claims to prevent. We would rather give you full transparency than have you hold our funds. We are happy to provide weekly reporting, read only admin access, and tracking on every order as we ship. We just want to keep serving our customers and fulfilling every order. Could someone please take a real look? Ticket: d4b45c22-bbb3-4933-9f91-aee948a5d285 @tobi @harleyf @Shopify @ShopifySupport

Currently thinking of building out a second store. Current brand is doing phenomenal. Insane margins. But it’s a one time purchase and stock is a constant headache since we run higher AOV. Everything’s dialed though, so as the team’s grown we’re sitting on more spare capacity than anything else. Don’t wanna get distracted from the main thing, but the bandwidth is there. Looking at supplements. Probably pet, maybe human too. Anyone here playing in that space, would love to chat. Can trade some value on what’s been working for us. DMs open.

Most people try to learn every channel themselves. Almost nobody admits someone else will always be better at it. I was running my own Klaviyo and Google Ads. Doing fine. Thought hands-on meant I had control. Then I hired people who actually live in these platforms. Know them way deeper than I ever will. Results 2 to 3x’d. The hire pays for itself and then some. The lesson wasn’t “outsource everything.” It was that my time spent half-learning a channel was costing me more than paying an expert to run it right. Stay hands-on where you’re the edge. Hand off where you’re the bottleneck.

Spoke to soon
Beautiful last 2 days, out of stock so running pre orders right now. Once I have stock I’m going to scale budget still extremly low right now on spend I believe can 2-3x it with our current creative output speed. Just need stock 🤬. Making sure never to run out again

Most people negotiate their supplier. Almost nobody re-sources their supplier. We’re moving our hero product out of China to Vietnam. Same build, same quality. Between saving on duty and negotiation, we’re looking at 18% lower landed cost. That could add an extra 5% to our bottom line. Even if you stay in China, just looking into other suppliers, or even pulling a few quotes, gives you the leverage to renegotiate the supplier you already have. That alone could be business changing. Shop your suppliers. Not once. Always. As long as you maintain or ideally improve quality

Hopefully gets reversed in few days Fable was a monster
The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees. The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance. Access to all other Claude models is not affected. We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible. Read our full statement: anthropic.com/news/fable-myt…

Meta has been awful for me the past few days, don’t know if it’s just me or everyone. Oh well time to go make some new ads to try and fix it 🤬🤬

Lately I’ve been spending almost all my time on the backend before we scale, and I think most people have this backwards. Everyone pours energy into the ad. But the ad is just the first touch. Think about everything that happens after, the order goes in, support, the delivery system, the product actually arriving, the unboxing, the first time they use it. There’s a whole chain in there, and almost nobody optimizes it. And here’s the thing, if your business doesn’t have a subscription model or a referral model, you’re severely lacking right now. Those are the two ways you compound instead of constantly buying new customers. For us, subscription isn’t an option. So referral is the entire game, which means the backend matters even more, you only get referrals when the whole experience, support, delivery, retention, all of it, is genuinely high end. People don’t refer “fine.” So for the next month, that’s the focus. Backend, top to bottom. And the second it’s dialed, we scale.

If Mythos drops today, I’m about to be working for 24 hours straight. If you still aren’t implementing Claude or chat gpt drastically into your life and business you are getting left behind. Maybe I’ll do a in depth post on how you can start implementing it

Daily reminder that your goals aren’t big enough, 100k months, 1 million months is nothing to the wealth that’s out there. There’s people who are disappointed when they have million dollar PROFIT months. And you’re thinking what you want is so difficult or impossible. Now this isn’t to say to never be satisfied and always push for that next number as it will never be enough. However shoot higher, know more is possible, what you think you’re capable of 10x it. There’s always a path to do more and be better. Nearly everyone who gets to the upper echelon of business didn’t get there by accident.

I’ve been sleeping on Manus for landing pages and ad reviews. My current Claude code automated systems are solid for spitting out volume however the biggest thing is I still need to head man all the major ideas and revisions and brainstorm the ideas as code struggles slightly with that. However manus is a third output I’ve been starting to use and implement. Now there’s three layers of review for practically everything, manus then code then myself as the final revision. I agree with most people saying code isn’t the strongest with things such as copy however if you manually review and tell it what to tweak and give it better input ideas you can have the sweet spot of volume and quality

Need to start being more active on here.. will start to post more and give more value when I can. Start of the month doing well 37% ad spend drop yet higher ROAS and sales, have had two key higher’s one for Klavyio one for google where they have improved those two channels. That’s also allowed me more ability to focus on what I’m good at which is the ads and pages and been using manus to help break down and improve both. Most people see ecom as one channel but every single thing compounds drastically and all of it needs to be worked on. Pre landers, PDP’s, Klavyio, Meta, Google, After Sell, front end upsells. And that’s just on the front end main focus soon is going to be on the back end side of things such as support and user experience which will hopefully unlock stronger referrals and start working on that program.

You are FAILING on Meta because your mindset is cooked You’re overthinking unimportant shit ABO vs CBO 1 ad set vs 2 None of it matters if your creatives are trash You don’t need strategy You need volume and execution I just wrote a 5 PAGE GUIDE breaking it all down RT + comment “SEND” and I’ll DM it (Must be following so i can DM)
