Lame duck. Live agenda.
Clear the path to build. Strengthen our cyber defenses. Give rural connectivity certainty.
Three jobs Congress can finish before heading home.
My take in @FierceNetwork:
In a new op-ed in @FierceNetwork_, our CEO @Jspalter shares thoughts on how Congress can make meaningful progress on 3 priorities for America's connected future: permitting reform, cybersecurity, and ensuring rural communities remain connected.

Was great to hear @SeanCairncross at @USTelecom cyber event acknowledge that the most impactful thing communications industry does “happens under the radar every single day…people outside fail to recognize the scale” of cyber threats providers regularly mitigate. 🎯💪

A great piece on Henry Baker + his decades-long quest to document Black inventors. Stay tuned for more from team @USPTO as we continue to herald this incredible individual + his work, known as "Baker's list."
Among the inventors on Baker's list? An ancestor of @DepSecGraves.
A casket holder, an airship and a list of pioneering Black inventors washingtonpost.com/history/2…
❗️ USPTO is naming our Public Search Facility after Henry Baker. Our historian uncovered Baker's list of Black inventors from the early 20th century, which he compiled as a weapon in the fight against racism. Amazing that @DepSecGraves' ancestors is among those on the list.
Replying to @DepSecGraves
One of the names on his list was James Wormley, an entrepreneur in the D.C. area and one of America’s first Black patent-holders. I’m a proud descendent of James Wormley, so I know first-hand how important it is to support minority entrepreneurs, innovators, and businesses.
