Three waves of ballistic missiles have been launched at Kyiv by Russian “humanitarians” since yesterday evening. They used 21 missiles. Unfortunately, numerous sites across the city have been hit and damaged: ordinary residential buildings, energy facilities, infrastructure at one of the railway stations and the metro, shopping malls, and businesses. Even a monastery is among the damaged sites. Our emergency services are working at all the affected locations. Twelve of our regions came under Russian attack overnight. In Kyiv and across the regions, 34 people were injured, including five children. As of now, two people have been confirmed killed. My condolences to their families and loved ones.
Almost immediately after another round of talks, Russia launched a pointed attack. This means there has been no real change in its attitude toward everything that is happening. It is important to keep trying to find the right solutions to end this war. But when Russia responds to negotiations with ballistic missiles, real pressure on Russia is needed to bring about different steps – steps toward ending the killing. Stronger air defenses and the rapid delivery of missiles, the ability to destroy ballistic missile launchers, sanctions over the war – all of this must be in place. I am grateful to everyone who sees the situation for what it is and acknowledges the reality. The aggressor deserves to be treated accordingly. Ukraine deserves support. People's lives deserve protection. Thank you to everyone who stands with Ukraine!

Today in Oslo, I met with King Haakon VIII of Norway. I thank His Majesty, the Government, and all the Norwegian people for their support for Ukraine.
We discussed the return of Ukrainian children abducted by Russia. We must bring every Ukrainian child home. We discussed what steps we can take to make this happen. We are also doing everything we can to help our people in Oleshky, which is under Russian occupation. The situation there is simply horrific.
I thank Norway for standing with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people during this difficult time.
Very sad news. For two decades, Ann rewarded @washingtonpost readers with her smart, funny, poignant movie reviews. She was a beautiful writer and a lovely person. I was her editor for a couple of years and it was the easiest job I ever had. RIP Ann. wapo.st/484Ryb8

Many want Zelenskyy to kiss Trump's ass, but instead, he stands up to both Russia and Trump's America.

I am grateful to all of you who are trying to keep Europe and the United States together.
There are so many people with good hearts in America who sincerely want evil to lose and Ukraine to stand strong. These are the very hearts that helped Europe defend its freedom, and that fought on D-Day, won the Cold War, and want what is best for Europe. Hearts that want to be allies, not to divide or humiliate Europe. I believe most Americans still feel this way. And at the end of the day, the American people will have their say.
Putin will listen to America if America really turns up the heat on him and makes one thing clear – either he chooses peace, or he gets no more money for his war.
From an address to the participants of the European Council meeting. (2/5)

@Zelenskyy BREAKING
"Donald Trump has no power to remove me from office. I believe many people in the United States still stand with Ukraine, and I will fight until the end, until the Ukrainian people, whom I love so deeply, finally see victory."

This statement completely absolves my constituent Davey Hearn of Trump’s fraudulent prosecution against him for vandalism. It implicates Trump who gave a $15 million no-bid sweetheart contract to his Mar-a-Lago pool guy to do the bungled rush-job on Trump’s stupid scheme. Trump must pay for Davey’s legal bills and apologize in public. Now that the “Strait of Warm Ooze” cases have been solved, US Attorney Jeanine Pirro, the avowed enemy of vandalism against government property in D.C., can turn her skills to the criminal bulldozing of the East Wing of the White House, which cost us hundreds of millions of dollars, and defacement and desecration of the Kennedy Center by a desperado graffiti narcissist. We have some great leads in both cases! nytimes.com/2026/09/11/clima…
