It is so nice to be in beautiful and sunny Ljubljana today! Many thanks to @TurelGroup for the invitation and the great opportunity to present our work.
The long tradition of #crystalstructure analysis at our Faculty (UL FKKT) continues! A new @rigaku XtaLAB Synergy-ED electron diffractometer was recently inaugurated. Extremely small crystals (down to 10 nm!) are sufficient to obtain the structure!

3rd day of #ISMEC2023, Iztok Turel presents “Metal complexes with some approved drugs and selected biologically active ligands”.
If you like metal complexes and aestethics, @ISMEC2023 conference in a beautiful renaissance city Urbino is the perfect fit!
Farewell lunch with Rafael Cavalieri Marchi (middle) at Sestica, the oldest restaurant in Ljubljana. Rafael was visitor of our labs for three months as Maria Sklodowska Curie #EUTOPIA-SIF COFUND Postdoctoral Fellow. Nice collaboration with @SadlerGroup, University of Warwick.
COST actions are perfect tool to build new cooperations. You meet old friends and get new. We first met with Ricardo Louro (#ITQB NOVA, Lisbon) in 1993 and now again! Topic of this meeting in Carcavelos: “FeS Clusters from Chemistry to Biology and Beyond” @fesimmchemnet #CA21115
