🔥A wanted high risk domestic abuse offender, committed more serious offences against his ex partner before making off..... Saka & handler located the male near the victims address, but he made a very silly & painful error of judgement by trying to run away..... one in custody!🔥

Home Office figures show that police officers voluntarily leaving the service has hit a record high of more than 5,000, or 3.4 per cent of the workforce. This is more than double the rate from four years ago. telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/10…

Graham Thorpe, England cricketer, with beautiful daughters, loving wife, family and friends. Took his own life. Too many men in particular, at a time when information is plentiful, charities on standby, text, phone and email services ready, are deciding to end their lives. Many reading this, like me will have hit very close to where Graham got but stopped short, just. It's a desperate, confusing and frightening experience mixed with a matter of factness that at the time feels sobering, you feel you're thinking and acting clearly but you're not. Graham's wife took the decision to tell the world of how Graham both lived and sadly died, in the hope that if you or someone you know are struggling you'll grab one of the branches set out below and contact someone who can and will help. When someone takes their life, there's a trail of pain, questions and few answers, but many of us know that anxiety and depression gets so bad that life simply doesn't feel worth living. In my case I was lucky, very lucky. I ran, and ran some more until clouds lifted, the anxiety moved away and I could think straight. Looking back I've been seconds away from death several times, so reading about Graham is incredibly confronting, upsetting and sobering as I'm sure it is for many. I didn't know Graham but his story is all too familiar. Anxiety and depression for men, particularly men, hides invisible as the forced machismo creates a mask, a shield. You laugh, you crack a joke, you "look" ok and you carry on. But then one day as if you were preparing a meal, you take stock, prepare your deed and, You take your life. Leaving others with a lifetime of pain. You don't mean to, it's the last thing you want, but it's the unintended consequences of a decision made, nonetheless. If you're reading this, and can relate to any of the above, firstly have 5 minutes to think of Graham, his children and his wife, they need all the love and support that can be sent their way. Then, if you're anxious, depressed, really struggling, ease know that my email is open to sound off, that charities such as the Samaritans are there 24/7, SANE charity phone line is open from 4pm to 10pm daily, MIND have drop in centres nationally and emergence services will always help on 999 or NHS 111. To Graham and his family, you're on my mind and the mind of many, and to those struggling, you're a second away from help even in your darkest hour. Protect life. Yours. Stand up. Speak out.

Can we be really clear… There are no *extra* officers They’re the same ones who have been on duty all along Who have worked all the hours Who have slept on police station floors Who have been attacked and abused And who are back on duty again Because hatred will not win

Judge Condemns 'Unfair Play' in Assault Case Against Exemplary Officer A @LincsPolice police officer with a distinguished career was swiftly cleared of assault charges after mistakenly kicking a man who was actually trying to assist him during a chaotic pursuit of robbery suspects. In a scathing condemnation of @CPSEastMids the presiding judge called the case "a failure to understand the instruction of an English jury" and decried the unfair treatment of an officer acting in good faith. PC Alan Kirkwood, a veteran with 43 years of combined police and military service, was found not guilty of assault occasioning actual bodily harm against Scott Barratt. Mr Barratt had intervened to help PC Kirkwood apprehend suspects but was mistakenly perceived as one of the fleeing individuals. Judge James Sampson expressed outrage at the charges brought against the officer, stating: "This was never going to not fail and is a decision which proves a failure to understand the instruction of an English jury by asking them to convict a man of exemplary character...acting in good faith and doing his public duty but who made a mistake. It is simply not fair play." The incident occurred on January 3, 2023. Mr Barratt was walking his dogs when he witnessed PC Kirkwood struggling with two robbery suspects. In an attempt to aid the officer, Mr. Barratt apprehended one of the fleeing suspects. However, in the confusion, PC Kirkwood mistook Mr. Barratt for a suspect and kicked him in the face. The officer quickly realised his error and later apologised to Mr Barratt. Despite this, the case proceeded to trial. In a statement, Lincolnshire police confirmed PC Kirkwood's acquittal and indicated that internal misconduct procedures initiated during the trial would now be completed. At a time when police forces in England and Wales face a morale, recruitment, and retention crisis, with over 9,000 officers resigning in the past year alone, this case highlights the immense challenges and split-second decisions officers face while serving the public. This incident reveals the impossible dilemmas police officers encounter, where honest mistakes made under pressure can result in years of personal and professional turmoil.
