This morning at the Rwanda Development Board (RDB) offices, President Kagame joined a meeting of the RDB Board of Directors. The meeting reviewed RDB’s priorities and ongoing efforts to accelerate private sector-led growth, attract and facilitate investment, promote exports and tourism, and strengthen Rwanda’s competitiveness.
The President emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong focus on delivery, accountability and continuously improving the environment for businesses and investors to thrive.

• VoLTE enables customers to make voice calls over the 4G network, delivering clearer audio, faster call connection times, and simultaneous voice and data use.
• Customers with compatible devices will benefit from HD voice quality, quicker call setup, and uninterrupted access to 4G data services while on calls.
• @MTNRwanda said that it is building a more resilient, efficient, and future-ready network to meet customers’ evolving connectivity needs.

Yesterday, we welcomed Bill Gates and the @gatesfoundation delegation to Irembo Campus, alongside leaders from across Rwanda’s digital ecosystem, including MINICT, RISA, NIDA, BK Techouse, RSwitch, NCSA and C4IR.
We shared how Irembo is building citizen-centred digital public infrastructure by combining accessible services, community insight and technology designed around everyday needs.
Live demonstrations traced complete service journeys, while our discussions explored the potential of AI, including Kinyarwanda large language models, AI-enabled public services and more connected digital life journeys across Africa.
The next chapter of our partnership with the @gatesfoundation will focus on expanding Irembo’s capabilities in AI and Digital Health, and translating Rwanda’s experience into inclusive solutions that can create impact at greater scale.
