The world has lost Susan Wojcicki, one of the biggest contributors to the tech community, but more importantly one of the kindest, thoughtful human beings in addition to being a great Mom. Let's strive to follow her example and make the world a better place in her honor

Teton Gravity Research @TetonGravity announced the discovery of historic equipment from Brad Washburn & Robert Bates, abandoned in 1937. Washburn was our founding director. This camera, a Fairchild F Eight, from our archives is the same model as those Washburn would shoot.

The MA state #dinosaur campaign has been an exercise in celebrating MA history, engaging young people in the legislative process, educating the public on STEM. These are the real impacts of having State leadership recognize the importance of this bill! Thank you! #MassSTEMWeek

Public health experts have been investigating a global outbreak of #monkeypox. As of 6/1/22 @CDCgov is reporting 19 cases in the U.S. Thank you to Dr @sarisanch3z of @HealthyBoston for discussing the disease and how we can safeguard ourselves. #LifeScienceCenter #MuseumOfScience
“We do not believe the current #monkeypox cases reported pose a threat to the general public because we know that the disease is typically spread through very close contact.” Hear from @sarisanch3z @HealthyBoston on what experts know about the outbreak. #MuseumOfScience

Bottom line is we are now at point where COVID will fade from the headlines. At least for a bit. This is a good time to prepare for future surges/variants More therapeutics, vaccines, tests, high quality masks are critical. So whatever we are faced with -- we are ready End

So sad to see brilliant @ProfEmilyOster off Twitter Attacks that she, others face have gotten angrier, more personal 2 years of the pandemic is taking a toll on all of us But anger, divisiveness won't move us forward We need more calm, rational voices like Emily's Not fewer
I am leaving active engagement on Twitter. This will be my last set of tweets for the foreseeable future. Although I see a lot of value in information sharing here, I think the recent period has been marked by largely unproductive dialog -- at least around COVID (1/3)

Wastewater #COVID19 data in MA back down to pre-Omicron levels, which is wonderful news! We can't spike the football yet, and we will sadly still see many deaths from this wave, but we can smile a little bit more (and make sure to prepare for what the uncertain future may bring).
