It was a privilege to get to meet @thatbilloakley and @Joshstrangehill and tell them what their work has meant to me. They even signed my little picture!
ALT An image of Oakley & Weinstein from their appearance in The Simpsons episode "The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show", sitting at a table in a writer's room, with overlaid text reading: "Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein comprise a dramaturgical dyad."
Jek-14 is a Force-sensitive clone trooper manufactured by Count Dooku with a wild Force arm from the Star Wars Lego materials, who was quasi-canonized in an episode of The Freemaker Adventures, which was quasi-canonized by a book written from the perspective of a B-1 Battle Droid

I'm not sure there's a better example of positive masculinity on TV than Ben Sisko from DEEP SPACE NINE. He's a commanding wartime chief, not afraid to get tough when it counts, and a strong leader. But he's also a romantic, a caring father, and loves kids to pieces.
ICYMI, I joined Robbie and Matt of THE SIMPSONS SHOW PODCAST to talk about the episode guest starring Martin Landau, the merits of stage magic, and whether it's fair to judge the show's later years on a curve.

In the wake of LOWER DECKS' affectionate parody, I wrote about "Tuvix", the most infamous installment of STAR TREK: VOYAGER, and how the episode's legacy as an ethical dilemma obscures its poignancy as a human story. Would love it if you checked it out!
