Always an interesting start to your day to walk out the kitchen door to see the po-po blocking your carport. Anyhoo...they weren't after me and very kindly agreed to move their vehicle so I could skedaddle.

Soup's on!!!

It's been cloudy and cool the past couple days. Almost chilly after dark/before sunrise. So I decided to make soup. And now it's 85 degrees.

TIL: Tuna and SPAM are vegetarian-friendly.

You couldn't call in rain in any eanigful sense of the word. Comes down for 5 minutes and then stops. An hour/90 minutes later it starts up again. Just enough to drive up the humidity. And the weather has been very pleasant in the mornings and not unpleasant in the afternoons.

And ze soup she is done. Let it rest a while to let the flavors marry a bit. It'll be good tonight and bomb swiggety tomorrow. No corn bread because the oven is on the Fritz, but that's okay. Curse you @RobertRuda for throwing a craving for bean soup on me.
