Soup's on!!!

It's been cloudy and cool the past couple days. Almost chilly after dark/before sunrise. So I decided to make soup. And now it's 85 degrees.

TIL: Tuna and SPAM are vegetarian-friendly.

And ze soup she is done. Let it rest a while to let the flavors marry a bit. It'll be good tonight and bomb swiggety tomorrow. No corn bread because the oven is on the Fritz, but that's okay. Curse you @RobertRuda for throwing a craving for bean soup on me.

I'm convinced Bay Leaves are nothing more than a psychological crutch. "Making soup? Add Bay Leaves for some reason."

Came in just in time to miss the rain. By the time lunch settles, it should be over and I can get to work on that yard again.

Remove the neck bone, add the veg and some diced ham. Season and cover. Simmer until broth reduces.

Saute some veg and gahhhhlic.

Add cooked beenz.
