Wrote a book. Probably the best book I've ever written. Possibly *the* best book ever written. Not a celebrity. No huge budget. No AI written mangled nonsense. Just me doing my thing, writing a nice, funny, kind, good book. Give it a read, maybe? amazon.co.uk/Charlie-Custard…

Occasional reminder that I am no longer posting on here - I'm over on BSky instead - because, well, look around. Urgh. Account still here in case anyone tried pretending to be me. I'm the only person allowed to pretend to be me. Peace of mind and happiness ✌️

Of course, @jasonlytle And that's with most of my listening being on The GooDs or Bandcamp!

If I'd really thought about it, I'd have made Jukebox App my most listened song. As it is, I'm happy with On a Train or Bus.

Mainly over where the sky is blue now - clicking on a post and being able to read the replies without having to wade through a load of AI generated blue-tick slop first. Imagine.

"It seems you don't enjoy AI generated replies. I agree with you 💯 " "Yes I agree. My new crypto guide will surely help you sir" "It seems you don't enjoy AI generated replies" "Musk $1m bitcoin giveaway live" "AI generated. AI. Help me. Help AI. So tired. AI tired. Help me"

Turns out our dog hates fireworks *and* classical music, so yeah, tonight is going well.

I'd be dead in seconds. Eye contact? No, don't think so.

Unless looking at a vague point somewhere over their left shoulder also stops them?

Got to change the clock in the car, which fortunately was the subject of my PhD, so should be done in a couple of hours.

Another day, another walk, another great view of Worcester. One benefit of a dog who doesn't know the clocks have gone back!

40 years of Excel and they still haven't added a highlight to show which columns are filtered. Get on it! (And no, a tiny little icon on the filter arrow isn't enough for idiots like me!)

Fortunately, if anyone tries to use my Tweets to feed AI, I've deliberately made 9 in every 10 complete nonsense.

I think AI is going to collapse in on itself at some point anyway, a vortex of rubbish creating more rubbish, but it still needs to be made clear that genuine creative work shouldn't be used without permission - aitrainingstatement.org

I do have a real issue with celebrity children's authors - the jealousy, knowing they'll never be as good as me, no matter how much more money and accolades they get thrown at them. The crown is safe upon my head. Deal with it, Walliams.

A Short Poem I'm not raking the lawn. Leaves.

Nearly lost this streak today. Last guess, completely stumped, then... oh, they haven't have they? Why can't America learn to spell? ARGHHHHH!
I know Wordle is hardly ever mentioned now, but I'm pretty happy with this. Yes, getting one wrong 570 ago will forever haunt me, but it's still one of my greatest achievements.
